rented from Hertz on 01/03/2023. I got their insurance and 3 hours later the vehicle overheated.I called Hertz and I received a busy signal each time I called. I also called the following morning and once I received the busy signal again, I called roadside assistance.While on the phone with ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE they dispatched AAA. There was only one vehicle available since the Dodge Caravan needed repairs. I was supposed to get the Dodge Journey and instead they gave me the Dodge Caravan.The manager was extremely unprofessional and no help at all!So this issue was their error and I need to be REIMBURSED!And not only was this vehicle not ready for rental it only had an 8th of gas. Pretty much empty...After AAA picked up the vehicle, I had to pay for a ride to Hertz which costed money both ways.Once at Hertz, I was informed that my vehicle hadn't been checked in... I wasted time waiting for another vehicle and didn't get one.This cost me money and time and I need to be reimbursed.So on the 3rd I paid a $200 Deposit & $377 for the week and I signed a contract.On the 4th it was picked up by AAA and on the 5th I was given another renter so that is two days I am without a vehicle I paid for... I paid for 7 days not for 5 days. And that includes insurance and gas since the gas was almost on EMPTY. I paid $66.25 for gas and that vehicle was towed back to them. Gas Lost.The rental was $377 for 7 days and two days were unused due to repairs.Thanks to Hertz I missed out on the ********** center event so I could make some money!This was a special event and Hertz made me lose money on top of having to pay $15 each way to get back to Hertz on the 4th of January. But I did get a vehicle on the 5th and that vehicle also needed gas, an oil change and had a low tire warning on the passenger side.Hopefully, I will not have to continue filing complaints but I intend to do just that, if I am not properly assisted and reimbursed!
