1 starWould I recommend ordering your pets medication through Chewy? Absolutely not and I say this after giving them a fair chance and dealing with two weeks of stress, confusion, and poor customer service.I placed an order on June 18 for my dogs NexGard and Heartgard, well before his next dose was due. I received an email confirmation from Chewy that my order was processed and the payment was received. Everything seemed fine until I checked the status a week later and saw it was still pending vet approval. So I called customer service. The *** put me on hold to contact the pharmacy, then reassured me that everything had gone through and the order would ship within a few days. No mention of a payment issue.But days later, I checked again and saw that the order had been stopped due to a payment problem. Confused and now concerned because my dogs meds were about to run out I called again. This time, a new *** said I needed to cancel and place a new order. I explained I already spoke to someone who confirmed my order was processing. Again, no sympathy. Just cold instructions to start over and pay again even though they already took my money two weeks ****** now, my dogs flea and tick protection had expired, which is especially stressful during the summer when pests are active. The *** transferred me to a supervisor, who also couldnt explain why I wasnt notified about the payment issue, why I had to cancel, or how my previous call confirmed everything if it wasnt true. He offered a $50 discount for the inconvenience which turned into just $25.Chewy may have lower prices, but they clearly come with poor communication and disorganized support. I ended up spending more money, wasting more time, and putting my dog at risk. I wont be ordering medication from Chewy again and Id strongly caution anyone whos thinking about it.Chewy, Inc.

I was able to find that the issue with your original order, ending in *****, was due to a delay in receiving approval from your clinic for the NexGard Chewables and Heartgard Plus Chewables for Humo. Because of the delay, the pending hold we placed on your account expired, and we were unable to post the charge. As a result, the order was canceled automatically by our system.
Additionally, I apologize that the full $50 discount wasnt applied to your replacement order. As a courtesy, **** applied an additional $25 refund to ensure the full value of the promotion is honored. Generally speaking, you will see the refund amount credited to the account associated with the payment method on file within 3 to 5 business days, however that timing may vary based on your banking institution.

1 starI have been with this company over ************************************************************************************************** error. Now, because of corporate greed practices, they want you to use your gas and time to return whatever product they sent an error Before they will send you a replacement for the wrong item. I have decided to take my 15 year worth of business somewhere else. I urge you to do the same. They are no longer as careful when shipping your items, some more mistakes happen. 1 starAbsolutely untrustworthy! I placed an order, they did not ship it, when I called I was told that it was my fault because I did not verify the account. I asked when they send the verification email and they responded that it was sent on 6/15 @ 5:15PM. I asked if any other emails were sent, and they said NO. The email I received on 6/15 @ 5:15 PM was the order receipt telling me that my order would ship soon. They outright lie to keep your money!Chewy, Inc.

1 starI decided to try switching my dog's prescription to Chewy pharmacy. I needed to mail in the prescription. The information provided said they would fill the Rx within 1-2 days of receiving it, then provide fast 1-3 day shipping. My dog had 2 weeks left of pills at this point, so I figured there would be plenty of time to get the Rx before she ran out. A week after sending the Rx, there was no update, so I gave them a call. They claimed that because I sent it First Class mail (delivery in 1-5 business days) it would take ***** business days to arrive, and that they recommend sending Priority Mail. The email they sent with instructions for mailing the prescription said nothing about priority mail. It all feels very dishonest - like they can't fulfill their promised timeline and are blaming it on the ****.Chewy, Inc.
