Consumer beware. Get details in writing with the consideration of hiring this company out of Pensacola (owner Jake Petrovic). We were naive and got ripped off. We were told a quote based off the sq.ftg of our home. When they were finished ripping sheetrock, removing much more than needed, not preparing our house professionally for the tear out like these companies are supposed to with covering belongings with plastic, etc. Lets just say when all said and done our house was DESTROYED much more than should have been, They didn't cut out 2 bdrms of walls, kitchen, 1 wall in garage, main bath. Master bth was destroyed, didn't cover up the sewer drain and now there is sheetrock debris in our pipes. They didn't even have a wet vac to clean up all the debris all over the place. At the end, our bill was was higher. When Jake was contacted about all this, he reduced the bill to where it was in the original quote of the whole house being done. We had sheet rockers come to our house saying our tear out was on the top list of worst seen especially when they measure the unusual heights of the cuts (all off measure) with being able to cut a 8 ft piece of sheetrock in half. Their cut measurements are all different heights. We had someone feel so bad for us they brought us a Pinellas County Consumer complaint form to submit. Due to the mess, it's costing us much more to fix than should have. To top it off, we helped all weekend and got backstabbed with a higher than expected bill. The amount of fans thrown all over the house was insane with thrown wires all over the place with major tripping hazards I had to clean up so we didn't trip over the total mess. 2 yr young business with learning curves in progress. I loose sleep allowing this company tear my house apart and feel sick just thinking about the experience we have been thru and providing a $8k deposit which they wanted. It's all about the money and taking advantage of insurance.

Run! As fast as you can the other direction. Money hungry company. Read Matthew 6:24. Noone can serve two masters. They literally made my house look worse than it did after it was demoed. Then Jake Petrovic- owner of Servicemaster ultimately- QUIT MY JOB! My kids will have no kitchen or carpet this Christmas because Jake refused to do his job. It will take months to get that ordered, shipped, and installed. He was too busy having a good time partying. Which is good and well if you pay contractors who know what they're doing to get a job done while you're out. That didn't happen. There is too much to say to go into great detail. One thing is for sure, they want your money, but don't want to do the job. They are trying to receive full payment for a half a** job. SMH. They caused additional damage during the restoration that they bandaged up afterwards, but never actually fixed. And they not only covered my livingroom blinds in popcorn ceiling for lack of doing their job and covering them, but they broke them and left without cleaning or fixing them. Never apologized for any of it. They treated me with poor customer service after I showed them their shoddy work, requesting it be fixed. That was the first time Jake tried to quit. Now none of them return any correspondence.
