left me in pain took my money after estimate, made me pay in full and leave., weeks later ,when finally doing work broke another tooth and didn't tell me while pulling another. would not even look 2 times I went back after surgery and said I am suffering in pain, she said nothing we can do and would not even look in my mouth. she knew what she did! I don't trust people that just don't do anything right the first time.. beware all. and no pain meds while sufferingReview from Bob G

I must say, I’m disappointed in the practices at Healthy Smiles in Palm Coast, Fl. And after reading past unfavorable reviews, I was even more shocked, I feel to be a victim of misinformation and false diagnosis. I myself just picked Healthy Smiles a couple of years ago randomly out of a directories. I am over 65 and have a Medicare dental supplement. I was going to the dentist, about a few years before and wanted catch up on my dental care. After my examination and consultation, I was shocked to hear that I needed to root canals and four crowns to correct cavities in my molars. I asked to see the x-rays and were shown areas, but I still couldn’t understand they were cavities or the need to have crowns put in. But I trusted Healthy Smiles and went forward with the procedures. After $5000 and a root canal agreed to with only one instead of two, I continued to go to Healthy Smiles for my six month cleaning and check ups. It was on the first check up and cleaning that the new doctor (Dr.A***) said I needed another cavity filled and a second that should be filled although not urgent?? Once again I trusted them. But I finally caught on when I moved my wife from her entrusted dentist on a nearby town for driving and location sake to Healthy Smiles. 1st visit…. Dr. A*** diagnosed an alarming TWO ROOT CANALS AND TWO CROWNS WITH A DEEP CLEANING…$2900 with insurance! I got a 2nd opinion and thorough consultation with new xrays that showed NO SIGN OF ROOT CANALS AND CROWNS NEEDED! These Drs at Healthy Smiles should have their records collected and investigated. Did I go through a root canal and 4 crowns as a victim of fraud? Beware of Healthy Smiles on Palm Coast!!!Review from Florinda & Robbie C

Healthy Smiles Dentistry Dr. Jacques B******** is none the less a rip off. Office fails when they systematically overcharge you for services rendered & go above the contracted amount with the insurer. my fiance had his first and second appt. second visit he was going in for a simple extraction & consult about a perm. Bridge, preceded to x-rays & mouth impressions, Dr. Jacques B******** while examining my fiance's mouth told him that he had a gum disease and that he may need his rear bottom molars extracted to prevent any future problems and some sort of antibiotic that needed to be injected into his gums, we were given multiple printouts with prices to different procedures, tooth extraction should have only cost us $70 they charged us $140 multiple times were lab fees totaling over $1,600 so of course we proceeded with getting a second opinion (he does not have any current signs of gum disease nor does he need any extra tooth extractions to be done) we contacted our care provider and spoke to 3 different people they all stated that we're not supposed to be charged for any lab fees. day of my appointment we brought in the paperwork receptionist Rachel proceeds to tell me that they are no longer as of today May 3rd working with our "dental care plan provider Solstice" but that they could give me coupons from their office that would actually cover more than my plan provider would, it upset me to hear this and I even questioned but could not get a specific answer was told that someone would come and get me in for my appointment and also to speak to the financial advisor there in just a few minutes. I proceeded to go outside to speak to my fiance and my soon-to-be father-in-law and told them the situation at hand meanwhile I again called Solstice care plan provider to question whether or not it was true that Healthy Smiles was no longer affiliated with them and the gentleman that I spoke to assured me that as far as he could see in his computer system that yes they were still working with them then he advised me to hold off on my appointment to go back in and have the receptionist call a specific phone number for solstice in front of me to confirm what she had told me to begin with when I went back in the receptionist Rachel did call and specified that they would only work with Solstice PPO not solstice plus one at that moment my father-in-law came in and we were immediately escorted to the back room so that we could no longer hear the conversation that Rachel was having with solstice when I was asked to have a seat on the examining chair the young lady called for the financial advisor Ashley a very snippy and unprofessional individual I might add, so that she could explain to me the situation as to why Healthy Smiles Dentistry was no longer working with Solstice plus one plan she really didn't have the correct answers all she could keep on telling me was that they were going through some changes I told her that this was unfair very unprofessional on their behalf and that they should honor my appointment and my dental care plan because I made my appointment a week and a half prior to date somebody should have contacted me then. When I addressed her about my fiance she tells me that they would still honor the insurance and or plan for him because he had already been in two times but they could not honor not charging all of the lab fees listed and I told her that is not right our plan covers all lab fees. Basically they would be getting paid by Solstice and then they would get paid again by us that is not right to do, and we would not allow anyone to take advantage of us. She really couldn't justify the words that were coming out of her mouth because I'm sure at that point in time she knew that we were on to them trying to scam us and I'm pretty sure we're not the first and or only ones that they have done this to this is beyond unprofessional poor business ethics and untolerable. The Dentist Dr. Jacques B******** never bothered to come meet me and or try to justify the situation.. Very disappointing!!!
