1 starHave been trying to cancel services for 4 years, always the run around. I am not sure our non-profit ever signed up for it as the disputes started immediately upon being charged. Have continued to attempt to cancel. Now filing complaints with the ***, MT and FL state ************************* and the ************************************ and working with ******* on reporting this abuse and misleading business practice. They are a nightmare to deal with and I feel they are fraudulent in their business practices.Review fromClaudette H

1 starMerchant Lynx uses deceptive and unfair trade practices. Please do not sign up with them or you will be sucked into their web of deception and lose a lot of money in the process. Merchant Lynx bought out the company we used, Frontline Processing, in 2021. They never closed the Frontline account and kept charging us $20/month and $199 annually. They opened a second account under ********************** Lynx and charged us an additional $20/month and $199 annually. I was told many times that the extra $20/month was for the machine rental and it would be looked into and resolved. The $20/month increased to $110.95/month and eventually we found out they had shared our bank info with another company First Data/Fiserv and we were being charged $69/month for a machine on a 4 year contract that we were unaware of and did not sign up for. Neither company will send me copies of the original contracts we allegedly signed with them. I read horrible reviews on them before beginning service with them in 2021 and tried to cancel. I was told we're under a 3-year contract and had to pay $495 to cancel, even though we hadn't started using their service or equipment. 4 years later, 2025, our machine needed an update per their customer service. When I called for the update, I was told we were being sent a new machine. The new machine came with the leverage up program where we were going to have to charge the 3.99% surcharge on everything we sold, including cash and check transactions. They state it's the new law per **** and if we didn't do it and run all transactions, credit, ************* through the machine we would be fined $1500. I asked to cancel our service and was informed the 3-year contract is auto renewing and I will be charged $495 for early cancellation and I could have cancelled the first year of service with no charges. They don't refund you, they don't follow up on refund requests and continue to hit our bank account with undisclosed charges after both accounts have been closed.Groundhog Enterprises, Inc.

1 starSTAY AWAY!!! THE MOST FRAUDULENT COMPANY. they have charged for services, without permission, 1 year after accounts were closed. I've repeatedly called their "customer service" and I was given the run around of ***************** will review your case and we will let you know"However nothing was ever rectified. They are so crooked. I recently discovered they have 44 complaints against them with the Better Business Bureau. Save yourself a huge headache and stay away from this fraudulent company.Groundhog Enterprises, Inc.

1 starWORST COMPANY EVER!!!!!!!!!!! RUN FROM THEM. THEY MADE 2 MERCHANT ID'S WHEN I ONLY REQUIRED 1 AND i CLOSED THE ACCOUNT ****** BUT IT TOOK A YEAR TO GET ANYONE TO TALK TO ME. I HAD TO DRIVE TO ********** TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR. They charged ne for 2 termials and i spent $6,000 on a terminal I never had. I had to fight that and I received SOME os the money but lost about $4,000. AND THEY ARE STILL CHARGING ME AND NOONE WILL CALL ME BACK, Legal action will begin now. I WISH THIS COMPANY WOULD JUST THE RIGHT THING. THEY DID THE SAME EXCAT THING TO A FRIEND OF MINE AS WELL. BUT FOR ANYONE *** IS INTERESTED PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM. 1 starOn March 17th, 2025, our accounting office received an email stating that we must undergo an audit by your risk department for transactions made to our firm during tax season, our busiest time of the year. The email indicated that certain transactions were placed on hold for auditing purposes and requested a list of documents, which we promptly provided the following day. Despite sending the requested documents and submitting numerous tickets for a callback from a supervisor or manager to discuss this further, we received no response for almost two weeks. On March 29th we finally received a call from *****, who stated that the audit was complete, and our funds would be released the next day upon his supervisor's approval. However, the funds were not released. Following more attempts to contact them, ***** informed us that the only way to release the funds was to process another payment with Merchant Lynx, which we complied with. Despite these assurances, the following day, ***** informed us that we would need to wait until October 14th, 2025, to determine if the funds would be available a delay of six ********* of today, May 5th, 2025, we have not received any further communication from Merchant Lynx regarding this matter. Due to this lack of resolution and the financial impact on our firm, we have been compelled to hire an attorney, who has also been unsuccessful in receiving a response from your company. Furthermore, we have sought advice from a local politician who has recommended engaging a third party to ensure the receipt of all outstanding payments from the past year due to concerns about trust.We have significant concerns about the trustworthiness of Merchant Lynx due to a pattern of what we perceive as false promises and repeated excuses to hold our money. The total amount of outstanding payments held by Merchant Lynx is $43,646.50. There is no justifiable reason for the continued withholding of these funds of our hard-earned money of our firm.Groundhog Enterprises, Inc.

1 starTheir Agent representative lie to me from the very beginning. Told me their were no monthly or annual fees. They did not even setup my account correctly, misspelled email so I didn't receive notices or could not login to account - took 4 months to straight out.March Statement said they are raising rates and transaction fees and that the Merchant who are being assessed the annual fee as a new fee may terminate their merchant agreement without the assessment of an early termination fee. Terminated like they told me to do, but still being assessed the early termination fee.Groundhog Enterprises, Inc.

1 starThis is the worst merchant services company I have ever dealt with. I was lied to by the sales representative (****** *****) about monthly pricing. My customer service rep **** never answered phone calls/emails regarding issues with the account. 1 starThis company is for sure NOT small business friendly, I very seldom did credit card transactions because of their 3.99 % leverage fee, I had my last transaction deducted (over $1500) from my business account and now it's been on hold for the past couple of days,(TRANSACTION REVIEW) and I'm finding out it will take several days before it can be resolved... all because of not using it, their so called (RED FLAG) I have wasted countless hours trying to get this resolved and I got nowhere overall experience I would give them NOT EVEN HALF STAR HORRIBLE and no one cares except for ****** who was the only one with common sense and apologetic I ended up closing my account and also coming out of pocket to ship back their equipment.... and YES THEY STILL HAVE MY MONEY until further review.. I refuse to give you my bank statements HORRIBLE way of doing business I want NO part of you BIG MISTAKE!!!Groundhog Enterprises, Inc.

1 starRandom amounts taken out of account every month and constant audits taking up hours of my time . Once service was finally cancelled ( took 2 months after submitting cancellation form and calling them everyday to close the account ) they will take another $499 out of account. Not small business friendly at all , it was a huge mistake going with this company and ended up costing my business over $1,000 to have them for a year.Groundhog Enterprises, Inc.
