Order # ******* Offer quote was $820.00 for 3 phones and two tablets. After evaluation, payment offered to me was $488. After asking for photos documenting why there was a reduction, I was told to wait and see if they could give me more money. I requested my items be shipped back immediately if they were not paying the agreed upon price of $820.00. It has been over 7 days and not only have they not repsonded or shipped my items back. The damage to my items listed by them did not occur. Items were flawless when shipped. Requesting my $820.00 in compensation. I went online to sell my old iPhone and came across gone gadget, which offered a pretty good price for the used phone so I packagedup the phone and sent it in. I got an immediate email saying they received the phone and that it was a lower quality than quoted and lowered the price $300. Which made their price far less attractive but anyways, I proceeded with the transaction and had the mail payment because they charge extra fees for other payment methods. After providing them with my mailing instructions, they said they would send out payment in the next week after that week went by. I contacted them saying thatI hadnt received payment and they said that they would resend it. I still never received anything and honestly kind of forgot about the situation And then once I remembered, I contacted them asking them to change the payment method to electronic and now they wont respond to me at this point.Business Response

06/05/2025 Sent in my in perfect condition iPhone 14 Pro Max because the company offered to buy it from me for $434. It was in perfect condition, in original manufacturing package plus **** packaging. Gadget gone has now received my package but now advises that they cant give me any money for it because of condition. I sent my phone to GadgetGone in a packed box. The phone was unlocked and essentially fully charged, and I was expecting to receive $196 for it. However, when the phone arrived, they claimed that nothing was in the box and that they couldnt give me my money back. They also stated that the box wasnt damaged or opened when they received it, but I personally packed the phone inside the box.Business Response

Unfortunately, after speaking with both a national representative and our local post office, we have confirmed that the shipping was not altered or damaged during transit. However, the acceptance weight was less than a pound and the package arrived to our office empty. With this conclusion from our **** investigation, we can confirm that we did not receive a device in your device at no fault of ***** Because we did not receive your device, we are not able to cover the cost of your package and will not be issuing a payment for your order.

I have mailed an iPhone 13 to this company for sale. But before sending it I took pictures of the device. This company offered me $238. First they took forever to acknowledge it was received even though I had a tracking number and it showed deliver. Then I received an email indicating they will access the device and let me know. They came back with an offer of $202 because there was a light use and scratched on the phone. I requested pictures. I had to wait for them. When I received them it was obvious it was not mg phone. I sent them the pictures of my phone. Then they offered me $212. And a bunch of excuses. I replied that Ive read a bunch of reviews from BBB where it was their practice to send pictures of damaged phoned to lowered their prices. And I asked for $220 then i did not receive any more communication. Asked for a supervisor. Nothing, lastly I got frustrated and asked for my device to take somewhere else. I have not hear anything at all. Seems to me they intend to keep my phone.Business Response

To provide some transparency, our operations team has been behind schedule in evaluations and received overtime this week to catch up, and we brought on a new operations team member as well to help with the volume. The Customer Experience team was inundated by the volume our operations team was evaluating to catch up and simply had too many customers to help at once, which caused further delays. This is not to provide an excuse for us falling behind, but to provide an explanation, and I am so sorry that we were not prepared to handle the volume of orders that we received.
I have attached a few photos below for your review. We are confident that we have your correct device. I zoomed into the photos you provided and was able to identify the light wear we provided photos of as well. Unfortunately, due to the glare, I was not able to zoom in and provide a comparable clear enough picture of your screen to provide for you.
Your device was clearly well cared for, and we did not mean any offense by providing a requote. Unfortunately, the light wear is what made us grade your device into our Good condition category instead of Flawless.

This was not about the condition of the phone. I asked for my phone to be sent back and my request was refused over and over and over again. I sent tens of emails asking for my phone to be returned, I had said I reject their offer and request my phone back, and was still ignored and given more counter offers. All my requests to return my phone were completely ignored and given offers as if I still wanted to do business with them. I had grown tired of waiting and asked for my phone back before they even looked at it, and the experience of this company accusing me of being the bad person for using bad language, and making it out that I'm the bad person in this situation. this is unacceptable by any company for any human decency. Threats to file police reports and anything along that sort were completely ignored and my phone was still not returned, but more emails saying we can't give you more money you sure you don't want this last offer it's the best we can do. IS this how a company doest business by goating and dragging this on and taking advantage of people?Business Response

As you can see in the emails attached, GadgetGone quoted me $307 for my iPhone 12 Pro, 256GB unlocked pristine condition. It was always in a case with a screen protector, I even shipped it back in the original box with the screen protector. I never received a follow up email after several texts I received a screenshot of an email that had no date or email addresses stating they'd only pay me $74, stating the battery life is poor and needs servicing. Which is not true, the battery life was at 83% which is awesome for a 12 Pro in pristine condition.I have asked for Jessa's email who is the person that supposedly emailed me with the dishonest quote. As of today, they are not responding to **** wish I would have looked up reviews on them before sending them my phone as this is an ongoing scam with this company. I think it is called GadgetGone because they are dishonest with their quote, and your phone is now gone!GadgetGone needs to be honest and get my bank account info and send me $307.Customer Answer
