As a customer, I'm the one with no luck in Central Florida Transmission Repair at this time. From 2016 I came to fix my Transmission from 2010 Chevrolet traverse because of my first gear slipping for around $1200. Almost 7 years later with the same vehicle, my Transmission has an issue on what say on the screen: "Transmission Hot Idle Engine" that looks like a fluid temperature sensor according to the code being diagnosed. Also there is a leak under the Transmission that is an engine oil between the engine and Transmission. I've been told it was the Transmission leak that came from the transmission fluid pan gasket to be replaced. The biggest mistake I ever made in my life was that the amount of repairing my Transmission would not just to replace the transmission pan basket but also to fix the issue according to the diagnostic. After being called to pick up my vehicle, I asked Mike if everything is OK, he said yes, and I made a payment. While running the vehicle, the message on the screen came back again which meant that my vehicle hasn't been tested to make sure it's been fixed. I felt so ashamed that I spent about $1300 and I asked myself a question: Would fixing a Transmission by just replacing the pan gasket cost $1300? Couple days after, the oil leak came back and I went to the shop to explain again about the problem, instead of continuing to check to fix the problem, they preferred to say that my Transmission needed to be replaced about $4500. I am not a repairman but I'm not stupid. All I know is that my Transmission problem is from the temperature sensor that it may be the TCM to be replaced because when the fluid temperature sensor is not doing well according to the check engine light it's normal that my engine would run rough, it's normal that my transmission would slip in order to protect the vehicle not to go far, and also that my radiator fan would be unstoppable to turn. Thank you Mike for failing an honest customer like me for your service.

Dropped off a 4x4 transmission and transfer case. After inspection was told transmission parts were discontinued. Was told to find another transmission and they would assemble transfer case and bellhousing on the new one. Paid for the work on the transmission. Called back with new suitable replacement and was told my transmission and transfer case had been "thrown out" and I was "outta luck" by manager. Never received a call, text, or email to pickup my transmission or parts. They just decided to pitch my stuff when they felt like it. Sent email to owner, awaiting response. Will keep this review updated

We would like to speak to you offline. Please call the shop at your earliest convenience. Our records show we did in fact reach out to you but we were unable to connect with you. Even if we had not reached out to you, your parts sat with us for almost two years. I'm not sure about other industries but that length of time is certainly considered abandonment. How long do we keep parts for before assuming they are unwanted? Even a couple months is enough for a shop to assume the customer doesn't want their parts. We would still like to talk to you however to see what we can possibly do for you. 407-203-1217, please ask for Mike.

Spoke with Mike he was unwilling to provide any proof of attempting to contact me. I have pulled my phone records which show they did not attempt to contact me but do show that I was in contact with them. I also have the receipt from March of this year 2021, when I paid for work done on the transmission that was disposed of without my concent. This story doesnt add up or make sense, items were of value. The fact that they say they have records showing they contacted me but arent willing to show them to me, tells you what kind of business this is.

P.S. The money you were charged was for the dismantling of the transmission. Our receptionist who collected your payment was simply doing her job. She wouldn't know of the disposition of your transmission. We have many customers bring us transmissions already removed from their vehicles. Some authorize repairs, some don't. In most cases when repairs are declined, the customer abandons the transmission, which we hold onto as long as we can. You transmission was discarded6 months ago, which meant it sat at our shop for a year and a half. You brought us a defective and obsolete transmission, which doesn't have parts available, with us for a year and a half. Not once did you call us to request we hold onto it longer, or we would have. Now, to make you happy, you want for us to purchase you a new transmission, at no charge to you. To replace a broken obsolete transmission which you abandoned. In March, you dropped off a second transmission, you paid the inspection charge you're showing the receipt for. We called almost immediately to let you know the transmission you brought was incompatible for you application. Three months later, last week, you finally picked up the second transmission. At that point, I'm sure you'll recall, you were offered a refund for the inspection of the first transmission, even though my rebuilder was paid to dismantle and inspect it. You declined on the refund. We're still happy to refund the full amount to you. I would also entertain obtaining another rebuildable transmission for you, but given the circumstances, my shop spending $1500 to $2000 on a new transmission for you to replace an abandoned and broken transmission isn't possible.
