I bought a Maximo solar system 3 years ago. I was looking for a Tesla Battery. but they were on a 1 year backorder, so I bought a SunBeat 10kwh system, which the sales representative said was a fully owned subsidiary of Maximo and that Maximo would maintain the system and any required maintenance of the SunBeat system. Last year the SunBeat 10kwh battery started dying prematurely. After many attempts to contact Maximo, they sent out a repair crew that updated the software, but said the battery was bad. When nobody cam to fix it, I called again and after many calls they sent another team that said the battery was bad and they called SunBeat who sent out a repairman that confirmed the battery was bad. I asked if he meant all 4 batteries that make up the 10kwh and he said yes. A few days later he returned with 2 batteries and he said his supervisor believed that only 2 were bad. I said do you believe that and he said no, .."but I will watch it and if the others are bad I will replace them". I waited a month and I could see they were bad, but he never returned... That was last December, 8 months ago, and I have had no one return. When I called Maximo they said I have to call SunBeat since it is now not affiliated with Maximo. I call Sunbeat and the Service line either doesn't answer or call back. If I ask for ***************** I get a person who switches me to the Service line that never answers. I called back to Maximo, and they say they can send a technician, but it will cost me 200 Dollars... for a 10yr Warrantee repair visit. Maximo still sells the SunBeat products, but wants to forget servicing them.... Consumers Beware of both companies.

I live in Melbourne Florida and from the beginning I have been having problem with this company. I paid approximately one hundred thousand dollars since approximately February 2022 and it seems that they really don't care about their customers. I recently had 2 additional batteries install and approximately 3 weeks ago they left and have not been back to complete the install. I've called multiple times and send emails, which were not responded to. The last time I called, they stated that they had to setup an appointment for their service people to come back and finish the installation and also repair a panel that was loose. I continually tried to contact them but no one returns my calls. Finally, I went to the website and saw that they are permanently closed, but no one contacted the customer (me) to say that they are closing and who will now honor their warrantee. Now how do I go about having my units service and get my system completed.

I give this company a total F this company has been out to my house twice to fix the converter on top in one of the solar panels and every time they have to come we have to pay $350 which I think is very unfair to all of us After paying $30,000 for the solar panels. I think that $350 should be waived. It is not our fault that the solar panels are not working the way they should be .. replacing them with refurbish parts doesn’t help us either. I have called the company & have left several messages I haven’t received one single call my next step would be to put in a complaint with the ??Better bureau. If anyone out there has any sense do not go with this company. .. I would be willing to take this complaint down. If I could just get someone to call me …to whoever it concerns you can reach me ..

    "Bait and Switch"

I contacted a sales person at "Maximo Solar" on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 1pm. I asked for he a Sol-ark 12k inverter. He said yes, there is one available in Aguadilla. I told him that I am going it immediately to buy it, because my Sol-ark 8K was in error state and I did not know if I could get running again.

I went to Maximo Solar and told the receptionist that I have a Sol-ark 12K on hold, that the sales person had separated me. I paid for it, an employee was bringing the box down for me. I realized that the box did not say Sol-ark 12K or Deye 12K (Chinese brand but it is the same). I immediately told the receptionist and called the Sales person, told him it was not a Sol-ark 12K, he said it is a Sunbeat 12k and it was the same inverter. I had already paid for it, ask if I can return it if it was not the same (recorded audio). He said yes, it was not a problem.

I took it home and left it in the box, began working on getting my sol-ark 8k going. I got it up and working. I went back to see the inverter that I just bought, still in the box. Since I have 4 Sol-arks 8K running, I still needed a "backup" in case of emergency. This inverter was definitely not a Sol-ark 12K or Deye 12K that I had ordered.

In the past "Maximo Solar" sold Deye 8K (under the rebranded Sunbeat). It was already 4pm and "Maximo Solar" closes at 4pm. I call the sales person and told him that the inverter is not a Sol-ark 12k, and that I could not keep it, because it was not what I asked for. He told me to take it to back to "Maximo Solar" on Monday, June 5.

Monday, I went back "Maximo Solar". There was a different receptionist and was told it had no refund. I again called the sales person and was told to bring him the receipt "he would take care of the issue".

Today is Sunday, June 18, and I still have not received a refund. A distributor in San Juan has the original Sol-ark 12K, but I need refund to buy it.

I am asking for my money back, a credit or a Sol-ark 12K.

This company has the worst customer service. I had a problem with my enphase enlighten monitoring system. It lost connection. I attempted to contact them several times with negative results. This is not the first time I have had an issue with them. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Maximo Solar is an experienced company with more than 10 years in the renewable energy market. We care for all our customers and take their concerns very seriously. As part of the service process, we want to inform you that the fact that a system is disconnected from the internet does not necessarily mean that it is not working correctly. However, we proceed to contact Enphase (monitoring company) where they informed us that your system is working correctly and that no interruption in the system connection has been reported so far. We will be sending the email from Enphase to the customer to confirm the information provided.

This is the MOST unprofessional solar company ever!! I have been trying for the last 2 weeks to reach out the lady who schedules the technicians appointments. please don't let this company fool you they don't care. I have to pay almost 500 dollars on electricity plus my solar panels. Every time I call they have an excused, either the lady who has access to the schedule is not there or the technicians are not available. This is ridiculous.

Maximo Solar cares about all our customers and take their concerns very seriously. After the hurricane we were working on scheduling the services based on the emergency priority. On October 13 we spoke with the homeowner scheduling the service for October 20th. In this call we expressed our intentions to accommodate this service on an earlier date. We tried to contact the customer on October 14 to inform her a sooner date, but no one answered the phone calls. Since we couldn't reach the client, we sent out an automated text message. We were able to contact her the next day, providing the service date for October 18. On this date our technician visited the property to take care of the issue. We are waiting on the manufacture to send us the equipment that was damage. We will keep in contact with the customer and the manufacture to follow up on this matter.

This company has NOT even taken the initiative to repair the damages! It is literally raining in my house!! My case has been open for months and yet nothing has been resolved! I have had enough, & i will be pursuing legal action. MY CASE WILL BE TAKEN SERIOUS!

Maximo Solar is an over 10 years experienced solar company that is committed with all our customers. We have installed over 1000 solar systems here in Florida. All our projects are in compliance with the Florida Building Codes, and they are inspected by *** (*****************************). The customer acquired the solar system as a lease with third party. We installed the solar panels and provide services, depending on their request. For this project we received a service request for a roof leak on 8/30/2020, this was completely solved on 9/15/2020. For two years we didn't receive any service request for leaks until August 30, 2022. We send a technician to repair it on September 14, 2022, even though the service was refused by the customer. After the technician left the house, the third party requested another service for the same matter. We contacted the customer to schedule the visit on September 29, but he refused to receive our technician again. Maximo Solar have been in communication with the third party regarding this project. We and the third party are doing our best to have this concern solved as soon as possible for the benefit of everyone involved. Thank you.
