The property that I rented an apartment from, Indigo West, claims I owe them over $17,000 of unpaid fees including $13,000 of unpaid rent and other cosmetic fees for the apartment, and legal fees. The property also claims that I remained on the property for 6 more months after the lease ended. I have documents supporting all dues that were to be paid and that were paid for the duration of the lease. At the end of lease, I have all documents supporting the move out walk-through with management and for the return of keys of the apartment to the leasing office. This property is highly mistaken and there is a need to do a thorough investigation with my account because their claim is absolutely absurd and bizarre. This property has always giving me and many other tenants within the community trouble. The leasing office is never open. They claim to be open 7 days a week, but there is always a sign on the door saying "sorry we're closed". No one was ever able to assist with concerns and complaints. The one day a week, which would be a Monday, that they would be open, there were always different staff members, not one consistant staff member would be there. Being said, I feel that my account with them has been mixed up with another tenant's or the staff just didn't take the appropriate steps to ensure all was well, as they told me, at the end of my lease.

I was advised I would receive a refund of my holding deposit within 10 business days of my application being denied. My application was denied in sept 13,2022. I called back after 10 business days and was told to give them another 10 business days. It's Oct 31,2022 and still no refund. I called again 10/31/22 and no one can say why I haven't received my refund. It's the corporate office, so I asked for corporate number. No one can provide. I asked to speak to a manager she is I'm not in as always. At this point it's FALSE ADVERTISEMENT and they are about to owe me way more then $200 due to the lack of organization and professionalism this company is displaying

My wife and I applied to live at Indigo West apartments knowing that we qualify for every requirement. We paid several hundred dollars in application and holding deposit fees. We both work full-time jobs and make more than 3x the rent amount and have great credit scores. A few weeks after I submitted my application, I contacted the office to ask if they needed additional documentation since I had not heard back from them. They said would review it and get back to us. Due to the hurricane, they mentioned were busy. Fair enough. I emphasized in the conversation that if they needed any additional documentation, to contact me, and I would gladly provide it. We received an email saying we got denied. I understand it happens to many people, but when I called them to understand why we got denied, the first problem happened. Chanterica let me know that they actually don't make that decision. She said a 3rd party company named On-Site makes the final decision. She also gave me the number of the company. Hence, I contacted them to ask for more information while already sending additional information such as bank statements through their portal. On-site let me know that a reviewing process takes between 5-30 days. I called Indigo West once again and spoke with Michelle since the apt had been relisted on their website, and she told me I had to wait for On-Site's review. I called On-site again to explain the urgency of the situation, after all, our application shows that we intended to move there on December 1st, and the apartment we had applied to had just been relisted on the website. Then the truth came out, On-Site explained to us they don't actually make any or final decisions. It's Indigo West's manager that makes that decision. They simply pull a report online from them, that's all. So I called Indigo West again, and Michelle told me the unit that we had been denied is not available anymore, someone else already took it, and nothing else could be done.

From 7/30/2020 to 8/29/2021 I had a lease agreement with Indigo West apartments in Metrowest, Orlando, Florida. The lease agreement dates were paid in full and on time every month. During the lease the upstairs apartment flooded down into our apartment which over time caused major mold issues. Over and over again they were just covering it up with paint and it would come right back. It was a constant on going issue and also caused health issues. Management came in to also take photos. I was under the impression that there were no additional charges until today when I got a phone call from a debt collector for an additional $1400. Upon moving out we cleaned the apartment better than how it was given to us at move in and the carpet was the exact same as move in besides a spot that was coming from underneath the carpet that we had no control over from the flooding. I have photos and work orders for this as well. There were work orders constantly for this spot growing underneath, roaches, and mold. We had to move out early due to the mold and our health but still paid the lease terms in full. A year ago when they said there was still a balance I was constantly contacting Indigo West, Billing, and corporate. Billing always said they were waiting on management and management said they were taking care of it. I dont understand how they still believe anything is owed to them. I am still owed my deposit back. And I should have been taken care of for the amount of times I had to go to the doctor for breathing in the constant mold, and the mold kit that I purchased myself to cover myself in the event that this would happen. Clearly this hasnt got resolved and its not right that this was sent to collections. I was a perfect attendant with always paying rent before the due date. I cannot control mold nor should I be held responsible for having to replace carpet that was caused by the mold and flooding.

My name is ***** **** and I am a previous tenant. My old apartment was *********************************. I moved out in November of 2021. And I have been dealing with this issues since then. I have been emailing and coming to the office since then. I have spoken to Amicka G******** and also spoke with you one. She responds to my emails when she feels like it. Which is very unprofessional. However to my reason for this email is My balance was $6,620.16 when I moved out. I have brought 3 checks to your office since then. One for $1,178 then for $4,620.16 and the last one I gave to Israel for $1,178. I was told that Amicka will deposit the checks with in 24 hours. I came in 4/11/2022 to get my move out statement. And also checked with Conam and they are saying I owe $822.00. Which is incorrect because if you add the checks you received. I paid $6,976.16 which mean I should have a credit of $356. I do believe my last check was not deposited. When I told Amicka that I had one more check coming she advised me not to pay you guys. Which I did anyway, she said that I would have a credit. And I should just pay the $822.00 in cash. And save my last check for my next apartment. Which I thought was very odd. Because the check would be address to Indigo west. I don't know if this is a scam or something happen. But I have paid my full balance since the early this year. And I have numerous of emails between me and Amicka and no results. This is hindering me from moving. I have been homeless since November living out my car and staying with friends because of this. No apartment will accept me with a balance. I have had superb rental history since 18 years of age. This is the first time I have ever dealt with something like this. And it's cause me stress and anxiety. Can you please help me with this matter. My number is************* and again my name is Ms. ****.

I paid my rent on the 28th of February, then my bank notified me of a fraud attempt on my account. So I repaid the rent with money orders on March 2nd and paid $400 more to put credit for the following month. Not only did they charge me a $150 late fee, they also hit me with a NSF fee of $75. My lease clearly states that rent is late on the 4th of the month and the NSF fee is only $35 not $75. I have reached out over 20 times and submitted proof of payment and they still refuse to give me my credit and remove the late fee. No one will even call me back.
