Contacted to replace valve going from ********* line to house which was leaking - initially told part was on back order and wouldn't be in until early January - now won't return calls or text messages (1/31) and city plans to turn off ************** since not repaired - unbelievably disappointed

They told us that they will clean up after themselves, my wife is disabled and cannot clean the mess up, dust everywhere, multiple holes left open, drywall pieces keft on the floors throughout our home, i called the office, spoke with the "office manager" she is very rude and very pompous by the way, could not, would not do anything about the mess the guys left in our home, she also said that they cannot fix the holes until the city of Apopka gives them the permit, and inspects the plumbing...it's been 4 weeks since we heard anything back, they got the permit and of course, it was because the "city of Apopka" is short staffed, and very slow, they are saying that they want to come inspect it next week...i asked her, Are you going to clean up the mess when the repairs are done, she wouldn't give me an answer, stay tuned, there will be more to come...

BUYER, BE AWARE, Emerald Plumbing will not warranty their work. I needed to replace a tub spout, a shower head, and a trim in the shower just for the look. The previous shower set had no issue other than being old. After few days of a newly installed equipment, I noticed a drip. I called Emerald Plumbing and I was told that I will need to pay again for the service as they don’t warranty it. I told them that they should come back and fix their own mistake it at no charge. Also, I reminded them that I had no leaks in the shower when I called them initially. Technician Robbie came out and put a new cartridge even though a new cartridge was installed by a previous Emerald plumbing technician. Then Robbie told me that I will need to pay for a cartridge and 1 hour of labor. I told Robbie that usually companies return and fix an issue at no additional charge, but I was willing to pay for the cartridge he just installed. Suddenly, Robbie raised his voice at me and said: “You will pay me.” I politely asked him not to yell at me. Robbie told me that he doesn’t understand what I was saying, picked up his equipment, and left. I know I have an accent, but I speak clearly in English, so no need for this unnecessary racial macroaggression, Robbie. When I called the office, the “manager” Myrna, informed me that I kicked Robbie out. I explained to her that Robbie raised his voice and as a female I felt very intimidated, so I asked him not to yell at me. Hence, I never kicked him out and he left himself. First, she told me that Robbie is not “like that.” When I told Myrna that she wasn’t present during our conversation with Robbie, she told me that she was listening to our conversation on Robbie’s phone. I told Myrna that I did not give my consent for the 3rd party to be in the conversation. Florida has a two-party consent law and it is a crime to intercept a wire, oral or electronic communication in Florida unless all parties to the communication consented.

Couldn't be more satisfied with my home repipe. They came in lower price and everyone else and the price included drywall repair. My water was only off for 5 hours. The crew was a great group of guys.

I guess doing things the "Emerald" way means damaging equipment by reinstalling incorrectly, half-ass fixing it twice and completely ruining it the third time. It also means that office manager is allowed to be utterly rude and nasty to the customer. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone I know or talk to. You may be saving a little bit of money, but you'll pay for it in the long run. I forgot to mention that I was the first call of the day and the first thing the tech had to do was use my toilet🤮!?!?!

I can't say enough good things about Emerald Plumbing. They arrived on time, brought plenty of help, got right to work, were very conscientious, respectful, efficient and quick. Everyone had their tasks and they worked perfectly as a team. I had a complete re-piping done. They pulled the permit and had an inspector come out after the job. The next day the drywall people they sent came out and were exceptionally good as well. I am very pleased we chose Emerald Plumbing!
