From the get go I was clear with the attorney that the traffic stop was invalid. From the get go he pushed me to take a deal. I had to push back to get him to fight the evidence validity due to the illegal stop. I was told motions to suppress rarely work,. I was offered the same deal from the prosecutor that everyone is offered, 50 hours community service, charges remain, no jail time. The strength of my case was downplayed significantly in attempts for me to take a deal. I was told that my case depended entirely on the jury selection and if I went to trial and lost I would go directly to jail. At the beginning I was told the firm would be checking every day to see if my license had been suspended because I had never received a DUI citation, After not hearing anything and wondering if I still had a license I checked with the DMV and found it was suspended. I had to email the attorney explaining my license was shown suspended asking why Im seeing this and hadnt headr from them?. In response the attorney then looked for my citation and gave me 2 sentences regarding how to get my license back. My new attorney is actually handling the return of my license. Here is what I was told from the Umansky attorney regarding my hardship license. My new attorney explained that the Umansky Law firm should have attended the formal hearing for the loss of my license because its a time when you can fight the license suspension and also get the police on the record under oath. Because this was not done I automatically lost my license for a year. Theres a ton more, but im limited by character amount. Avoid aVOID

I hired this Law firm to assist with expungement or seal my record. They received and continue to bill me every month. I was unable to get the finger prints done in a timely manner due to the list they gave me none of the offices was providing the fingerprints services anymore due to COVID at that time. This was explained. I worked out of state finished the finger printing and when it was time to finish my process. Once I paid the full service fee up. They try to charge me another 750.00. I think it's unreal for a law firm to be this disloyal to there customers. This is a scam to. They took my 1250.00 and refuse to finish the agreement ass promised in contract. Then basically told me pay the money never spoke to a lawyer always a paralegal do I ask myself was the lawyer ever on my case. Fake emails from whoever. The staff was rude when asked questions. But I forgot these are lawyers they know the know so I guess scamming people is lawfully easy to this company.
