  I first had an evaluation in the office of Bright now Dental on1/18/21. I was told yes my Dentist was right I needed a Root Canal. Bright now Dental's Endodontist told me he would be at the Waterford Lakes location on 2/10/21. I got the Root Canal done and saw my Dentist for the permanent crown. When I was being prepped for the crown the pain was too much even when air was blown on the tooth. I was told I needed to return to the Endodontist, that I was experiencing too much pain for them to place the Crown. I went out to my car and called Bright now Dentist and explained what happened at the Dentist. I was put on hold and no one came back the phone call was cut off. I immediately called back another person answered and put me on hold, came back and said she had no answers. Bright now Dental got paid for a job that was not completed. I am now left with a tooth that is not completely taken care of and no other Dentist that I have contacted to ask to fix the problem wants to touch it.

  Business Response /* (1000, 15, 2021/07/20) */ Ms *******, went to Howell Branch Dental Care on 11/18/2020 (NOT AFFILIATED WITH BRIGHT NOW DENTAL) and per the ledger went in for a limited evaluation for tooth # 30, at that time looking at the treatment she approved for a Crown to be placed on that tooth and she Paid them $ 940.00. Howell Branch Dental, then referred her to an Endodontist to evaluate and treat as needed for a Root Canal, since I don't have ledgeable XRAYS to send you from them, I am assuming it was deep decay into the nerve. Ms *******, was seen at Bright Now Dental- Sanford location 1/18/2021, where Dr Jose C*****, did his exam and agreed it needed a Root Canal on tooth # 30. On the notes from the eval recommends that patient have the temp crown on a while, before final crown is placed. Ms *******, paid a $ 10.00 copay in Sanford and a narrative was sent to her ins Liberty Dental for authorization to do Root canal on # 30. Liberty Dental has a case file on her since all paper work was sent to them after a complaint was initiated. At that point Dr Jose C*****, told patient to have the Root Canal treatment at the Waterford Lakes location . The authorization from Liberty was received and they approved to pay $ 650.00 for tooth # 30 to have a Root Canal. . Ms ******* was seen at Waterford Lakes location and the procedure was started and completed on 2/10/21. The insurance payment was received on 3/19/21. I am not sure when she returned to her general dentist since it is not part of the Bright Now Dental offices. As mentioned before she sent a complaint to Liberty Dental and all necessary notes and xrays were sent on 3/3/21, on our end case was closed. I don't know if perhaps since she did not get the resolution that is why she went to the BBB. I will make an inquiry to the Ins company just to be clear of their findings, so we can help this patient. Again my apologies for the delay. Yes I was seen on 2/10/21 for the Root Canal. I was scheduled for the Crown at MY Dentist on 2/18/21. Only that could not take place because of the pain I was experiencing in the tooth. As I said in my previous statement, I left the Dentist office and called Bright Now Dental right away sitting in my car. I spoke to Amy who put me on hold and never came back to the call which was hung up. I redialed and got Rosa who told me she would check put me on hold and came back told me she couldn't do anything. I immediately called my Insurance, who contacted Bright Now Dental also, spoke with the Office Manager, came back on the line and said Bright Now Dental told him " File a Grievance". I expected if they heard a client is still having pain after a procedure, rather than assume("I am assuming it was deep decay into the nerve."), is to have the customer come back in for an Evaluation, none of this happened with Bright Now Dental. They told the Insurance to File a Grievance and THEY did. Not sure why she is now trying to disregard it. In my book you should not have been paid for a lousy job. Ms. Diana R******* is now trying to avoid the facts, My personal Dentist has no part in this. Bright Now Dental, was rude, Unprofessional, uncaring, do lousy work and not truthful. And no, my Insurance did NOT close the case on 3/21 /21 Bright Now Dental was satisfied they got paid for a lousy job and I was left with an incomplete Root Canal, not sure how she can justify this. The letter of 7/09/21, I was told by my Insurance to go back to Dr. Jose C**** to be seen for a consult, after I received the letter I immediately called Bright Now Dental to make the Appointment, and was told Dr. Jose C**** no longer work for Bright Now Dental, and they did not have an Endodontist at that time. I did not see any of this information in Ms. Diana R******* reply, or the fact that they repaid the Insurance the money that was paid to Bright Now Dental. Not a good office. My Insurance, has changed direction and is allowing me to be seen by another Dentist, (especially since I was told Bright Now had to repay the Insurance) to get the repair I needed to fix the problem Bright Now Dental left me with. So I am satisfied with this outcome. Bright Now Dental deserve a ONE Star.
