My daughter is a student at the ************************ and lives in their building (***************************). She is also a student with the ******* ********** of Educations Vocational Rehabilitation Program. They will be the entity responsible for the payment of my daughters contract with your building. Unfortunately, they are not yet registered to receive payments from the ******* ********** of ********** Her counselor said the process is relatively easy so we were hoping someone at their facility could initiate the process. I am happy to facilitate, assist, or follow up as or if needed, but we have called, emailed, and gone in person, but no one is willing to help. The continued avoidance to assist my daughter is discriminatory to students with disabilities who are trying to be independent and lead a normal life. I would like to speak to someone as soon as possible regarding my daughters apartment payments.Business response

Good Afternoon,
We have received the complaint and have been in contact with ******* & her daughter, ********. Our office had responded to her back earlier this month and did not receive any further information from her. She stated we had not responded and reached out once more to which we forwarded the initial response. She was successfully able to speak to our Accounting Manager on 1/18/24 regarding the request for us to register with the ** **** of ********* Vocational Rehabilitation Program.
We are currently in the process to be re-registered with the ** **** of ********* & the division needed. It seems we were once registered but the information is unavailable to us as the person who registered no longer works at the company. We have successfully completed steps 1 & 2 and we are currently awaiting further instruction from the Vendor Registration Unit and further assistance to continue on in the process.
At this time, I have left two voicemails as well as sent an email to the contact information provided for the Vendor Registration Unit and am awaiting a return call or email to further assist. But we are actively trying to get this taken care of.

My daughters attend the University of Central Florida and have lived in Knights Circle for a year. When it came time to renew our lease agreement, we received an email notification with instructions about the renewal process. In the hour it took us to review the document and complete the form, we were told that the lease price had now gone up. This occurred within hours, not days or weeks. We completed the lease agreement for one of my daughters but had to wait for my second daughter to get to her computer to sign the lease. After just 30 minutes, the price had gone up again. This time, an extra $300! We agreed to pay the increased rate and signed the lease agreement, only to receive an email the following day stating that their supervisor had not signed the lease, and now the lease amount had increased again. That's two increases within 24 hours. We called and were told that we could do nothing about it: either pay the increased amount or move out. In essence, they can prolong executing the lease, increasing our cost, with no recourse from our family other than to move to another location, incurring those costs and effort. This does not seem like a fair business practice, and someone needs to answer why they can conduct business this way.
