      Gordon Chevrolet Used Vehicle lot sold me a 2019 *** X31 ****** in July of 2023 saying that the vehicle was 100% inspected and fully functional. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Since July, the vehicle has been in the shop for multiple issues including, a nonfunctional forward crash camera, a rear window leak, transmission shifting issues, 2 separate check engine lights, one for defective injectors and one for a defective emission control fuel pump pressure control module.The salesman ********************* of course, blamed the service department, and the service department of course blames the sales department. Thankfully for me some of these repairs were still covered under the *** ****** 3 year warranty, however the transmission issue has cost me $800 for a temporary fix, the 8 speed automatic transmissions installed in *** and ***** vehicles are total pieces of junk and problematic right from the factory. Do yourself a big favor and PASS on Gordon Chevrolet if you are looking to buy a new or used vehicle.

      We service and inspect every used vehicle we sell including the one you bought from us 17 months ago. If the vehicle is functioning properly, and there are no codes to indicate a problem, we then offer them for sale as was the case with yours. Even if a vehicle is inspected, we cannot guarantee it will not have a breakdown or a defect arise. No one can predict the future. Fortunately your truck had part of the 36/36 warranty, which covered the things you mentioned, and still has some powertrain coverage through the end of this year. Any Transmission issue should be covered. The dealer you have been taking it to since July of 2022 when you bought it, should be able to help with this.

      I only use Gordon Chevrolet to service my Buick. Al has always treated me great and looked after me. To my sadness when I went yesterday to have an issue fixed, I found out Al is no longer working in the shop office. I did get to meet a new friend ******************************** was Wonderful and did a great job. He fixed my issue and had me ready to get back on the road. The price was outstanding and ******* really took great care of me. This shop and their employees are very Professional, Friendly and HONEST!!! I Appreciate ******* S and how knowledgeable he is with my Buick!!! Thanks,***************************

      I bought a diesel from this dealership and to make a long story short they sold me a truck that has been in the shop more than it's been on the job within the last 30 days. I'm looking at thousands of dollars just to drive it without the possibility of the turbo going out. They put me out of service and let me down. As a repeat customer, I'm lost, I actually thought I could trust them and in return for my loyalty, I got hurt.

      First of all, we are sorry that you are having trouble with your truck. It is the last thing either of us wants to happen. Unfortunately, when we sell a used vehicle, there has to be an agreement what repairs we will cover and what we will not. This is clearly disclosed to the customer. If that is not defined the liability to our company would never end. We cannot pick and choose when we take on the responsibility of repairing something that goes wrong. It would not be fair to anyone. That is why everything is in writing. Older vehicles with over ******* miles, as this one was, are sold As Is, i.e. having no warranties expressed or implied. In this case we also presented another form which further explained that any repairs would be the customers responsibility. We know that is frustrating, especially when the repair is expensive and so soon after purchase. If it were a Chevrolet instead of a Dodge, we would be able to seek out cheaper repair options but regrettably, in this case, we cannot.
