I just received a call stating I owe for a cash advance loan which I never took out. ******* ***** says they are mediators and wish me to settle the account. I requested all the details on company letter so I can verify information. They can only provide letters of exoneration after you pay. She was unable to give the company for which the loan was taken , when it was taken etc. Since i requested this information she advised she is signing off for litigation and I will receive a court date. She said her company name is GP Services in ****************. Took a minute to get to Global Processing. I believe the company to be fraudulent and requires immediate attention. If anyone can advise me on this company I would appreciate it.

This company just called me and claimed I have a past due debt with a loan company. They could not provide the company name. When I asked to be sent my original paperwork they advised if I set up a payment plan and pay today they could tell me who the original creditor is. This company is a scam!!!!

I just spoke with Global Processing Services trying to collect from a payday loan in 2017. I told the statute of limitations in ********* is 6 years and she said they are litigating. They said the loan was for $1200 but they would settle for $389. I asked for her to send me the copy of the contract and documentation she proceeded to tell me that she only has "critical" information and the rest I could see at the court hearing. The only thing that didn't match was the checking account information. Honestly, she had me. I was gonna pay it. While i was on hold i did a BBB search and while i was ready seeing that they use the same playbook with everyone they contact. When she came back to the phone, I told them to pound sand and never call me again!

I received a missed call from ************ regarding a payday loan that was dated over ten years ago. I'm currently in dispute with this creditor. I called the phone number back from another phone and I was told they couldn't find an account under my phone number, but then she told me she found the account. They have no reason to contact me by phone when I'm in dispute.

These people have been harassing me for nearly a decade under different names and it's gotten very old ver quickly. I believed it the first few times and it scared me but now I know their game and honesty I waste their time everytime they call me just to save someone else a few minutes. The will try to scare you into paying them and claim to have more information then they actually do. Don't give them ANY information and report them to a fraud center asap

I received a call today from a "Tory" who claimed I was delinquent on a payday loan from 2016 that would not appear on my credit report and threatened that my wages would be garnished. When I pushed back and asked probing questions, no reasonable response, and she refused to share any further details (which I asked to report to the authorities). ******.

Just received a call from a 512 phone number which is ********, ***** . No one spoke when I answered so I called back. ******** ****** told me I owe x money to a company named advance anerica and they are collecting on their behalf. Offered a settlement *** or they would take me to court and garnish my wages etc. I said I have no clue who advance America is and to tell their client to send me proof of said debt. She said that would not happen and I better pay. I asked where she was calling from and said Florida. I mentioned the number I called back is a texas area code. She got defensive and ********** ... bye! I hung up.Scam for sure

They called me today with the same exact totals and story. If they were legitimate, they broke numerous FDCPA laws. They had old contact information from places I lived around 15+ years ago. I pointed this out, was yelled at and argued with repeatedly. I advised them again, even if this was legitimate, they are well past state statute of limitations and they said they are "exempt" and are "litigating" as they consider not paying this back "financial fraud." They are absolutely a scam. Do NOT fall for this or give them any information.
