1 starHeres an edited version of your review:I used Certified Climate Control for regular maintenance on my ** unit. They performed bi-monthly checkups and consistently found issues, always accompanied by a hefty invoice for repairs they wanted me to sign off on. After consulting with a friend who has 35 years of experience in the ** business, I discovered that my evaporator coil had a leak. My ** unit was still under warranty, yet Certified Climate Control attempted to charge me $2,700 for the repair, including parts that were clearly covered under the warranty. After contacting the manufacturer, who confirmed my unit's 10-year warranty, it became evident that Certified Climate Control was trying to overcharge me, likely due to the extreme heat at the time. I would not recommend this company to anyone.Certified Climate Control LLC

This review is not fair to us. We unfortunately should have kept to no longer servicing your home. Your units under a parts warranty and we never told you it was not. The estimate we left all stated, parts warranty repair but there is labor to do the repair. Unfortunately, we cannot be as cheap as your friend. Also, to note the repair estimate for $2,700 was based off worst case scenario. Just in case we get out and the unit is fully out of refrigerant, that would be your price. We charge per pound for refrigerant and with how much refrigerant your unit holds, the largest part of that repair is the refrigerant cost. We do not ever over charge for the extreme heat. Our warranty coil costs are set at or slightly below the industry standard. When you listen to your friend who will do it at 1/4 the cost because its cash in his pocket with no overhead, it may seem that we overcharged. If you want true quality with a warranty for the repair, that's us. If a weld fails or that coil fails again in the warranty period of that repair causing all that expensive refrigerant to leak out, but you do not have to pay. We cover all the refrigerant even if we only added 2lbs but 15lbs leaked out. Our joints and that new coil should hold up and if it does not, we cover it all. Thats the added value we bring vs the others and we feel that value has a higher worth. We back our repairs and will answer our phone even weekends or after hours. Thats why we will never want to compete with a side job guy because we would have to cut corners or have very poorly skilled guys trying to do the work. We will not do these things because they both result in a poor outcome and reputation. I hope you have a nice day.Review fromAnna Z

5 starsMy AC unit was not functioning properly and the air was not cooling at all. I called CCC and a technician came to my house the same day! Mr. ***** H. was the technician assigned to my house and I can tell that he did a great job. He went through all the issues of my unit and paperwork. He explained to me clearly the problem with my unit, which was a ******* conclusion I am very satisfied with his service, he was professional, knowledgeable and answered all my question clearly. He had my AC unit fixed that same which's. In conclusion, based on my experience, I recommend CCC as a trustworthy company for his excellent service.Review fromJudith K

1 starSince 2015, Serviced all 3 units yearly except 2020 due to Covid. Stopped using Certified Climate Control (CCC) after our annual service on July 16, 2024 for all 3 heat pumps. They also gave us estimates for additional work needed on our 2 ton unit (7yrs old) & 3 ton unit (9yrs old). It took over 3 weeks before I finally got a representative to explain the estimate of over $3,000 for repairs plus added service which might be needed on the 3 ton unit. If we wanted to replace them, their estimates for new units was well over $10,000 each but should have been closer to $3,000 to $5,000 each!We got suspicious so we called a local company, Scotts Heating and A/C (recommend by neighbors). Their service person checked the two heat pumps in question. All ************** guy found was a defective capacitor (also found by CCC) on the 3 ton unit. He replaced it that same day (cost $249 + $200 service call =$447 total). CCC said we needed to add refrigerant to both units due to leaks but ****** found no leaks or any other additional problems suggested by CCC. We had always had excellent service from CCC until this year. We wondered what happen to them. After investigation we found out that they were bought out by ********************* in March 2022. That company is based in *************. So based on their ridiculous, exaggerated, (maybe even fraudulent) service recommendations this year, we will no longer use them nor recommend them to anyone else.Certified Climate Control LLC

On July 16th we did complete the maintenance on all three of this customer's units. Our technician in the invoice stated that the System in the garage was not cooling as well as it should and after checking the refrigerant charge, discovered the system was low on charge. He also stated that he took a picture under the coil and saw an oil stain which normally indicates the location of the leak. He did a free electronic leak search (an over 250$ value for free) and confirmed that is the location of the leak on that system. He stated the evaporator coil needs to be replaced and refrigerant added to get it back to manufactures recommended range for optimal cooling. The second system our technician noted on his invoice was the unit in the laundry room/laundry area also was not cooling as well as it should. He also did a free electronic leak search after finding this one low on charge as well but could not locate it, noting that it could be a micro leak that his leak detector just can't pick up. On this unit he gave further leak search options to try and locate this leak before the unit gets too low and stops cooling completely. I did look at the checklist that we do on each call and was able to confirm the charge reading is low. We have these check list to make sure our technicians are honest and for training when the team runs into something not seen often. It's not low enough to stop the unit from cooling but it will not cool as well and will cause the unit to run much more to try and keep up. As it leaks the refrigerant out, the system will perform worse and worse until it can't cool at all anymore. I also confirmed the pictures and was able to see the stain our technician spoke of. We will gladly send a manager out to go over the coil and show you with a leak detector the location of the leak. We can even call the manufacture tech rep and confirm with him your charge reading with you. We are more than happy to even have you ask other companies if the charge that's on the check list seems low. Our technicians are extremely thorough. Our whole goal is to deliver the best service every time. We never want to have a customer feel we are being dishonest in any way. I understand you had another company come out, but we have seen it time and time again that techs will make sure its cooling okay(not perfect) and walk away from the unit because they don't want to have that difficult conversation with customers. Most companies even sack 8 calls on techs which does not allow them to be thorough or have time to do a leak search, so they skip over that unless absolutely needed. Our job is not to pick what you need to know. It's to fully go through the unit and let you know everything good and bad so you can have the most informed decision on what your next step may be. If it's to leave it as is or maybe wait and see how it does, we are always okay with that, but I would prefer us letting you now everything vs us not telling you about this, saying everything is fine, and in a few months when it stops cooling you are now mad asking how this can happen when we just did your tune up. We will have a manager to reach out and see if you would like to have us come back and go over everything with you, show you the leak and anything else we can help you with, free of charge. As far as the systems cost goes. We did offer a few options so that you can pick what works best for your wants, needs, and budget. I can tell you the days of new units done legally running $3,500-$5,000 is gone. Unit and material cost is more than that now and even the company you had come check after us is priced the same as us with new units. We do our best to deliver 5 star service every time and that's why we will be the company that tells you a lot more than 99% of other companies. I am sorry you had someone else come out that was not fully honest, or maybe is not trained very well, but our checklist help keep us honest every time. Please see if that other technician noted any refrigerant charge because he most likely did not, let alone the other 26 readings we get and note for you. It's easy to hide one reading but to hide all the readings they should be getting is not possible. Please note we can send pictures of the stain on the coil, copy and the invoice and checklist for systems at any time. We are human so mistakes can happen but I assure you the technician was spot on with both systems and we are so confidant in that we will come out again for free and show you and even get a manufacture tech rep not another company, but your units manufacture rep to confirm the charge we see is low. Thank you so much and we will be calling you very soon to see how you would like us to proceed.Review fromWilliam T

5 starsI have a maintenance plan with Certified Climate Control LLC. Jermon was the Tech who came today to inspect our AC and Heating. Jermon did a thorough inspection of our unit to ensure it was working at peak condition. I have used this company many years and the Tech's are always knowledgeable, efficient and pleasant. The maintenance plan works out well by keeping any unexpected malfunctions to a minimum which is better for the unit and your pocket.Review fromDenise A

5 starsI purchased my a/c unit in 2018. EVERYONE I have dealt with in this company, from the salesmans, technicians and office personnel, have been nothing but nice, helpful, kind and knowledgeable. I'm talking about 5 years of NO ONE being testy, sharp, dismissive or nasty. The techs that come to service my unit for annual maintenance say this company is like a big family and they wouldn't want to work anywhere else. SO, if you are looking for a company that cares about the customer, this one would be it.Review fromMark B
