I ordered a pool from them and no one went through the contract with me so I didn't know how long I had to cancle my order if I changed my mind turns out they only give you three days to change your mind and if they finish building your pool and you don't have the funds they can garnish your wages or take your property to pay your debt so I would never suggest this company to anyone. There a joke.

Lets first start with the correct history of your transaction. You purchased your pool on 6/6/2023.  As stated on your contract you have 5 Business Days to Cancel. That is a Federal & State law, not ours. You also have given ** a deposit to expidite the ordering of your pool, which has now been in our warehouse for six months, since 6/25/2023. Im not sure what exactly your issue is, but you did sign right where it states you have 5 days to Cancel and I am not sure why you would go ahead and spend whatever money you planned on using for the pool while you are receiving emails on what your next steps are and how to proceed with applying for your permit etc.  Who buys a pool, puts a deposit on it BUT has no money!  Did you read the contract that you signed?  You had 6 mos to read it. I don't know anyplace where you can make a purchase and then decide you can't pay for it 6 months later.

In response to this customer's "review" we would like to start by saying we are sorry that you are not/were not satisfied with he outcome of your installation in May of 2021.  Let me start by saying that we certainly would come back to address issues when we know about them.  At this point in time, you are correct, it is now 2023 and your Labor Warranty has expired. The Labor Warranty is for 1 year after the install of your pool (stated on your Contract).  We did come there on 8/16/21 to address the liner issue.  We were not contacted about any problems with rusted hardware, a ladder not being "installed"properly, cut corners and caps not fitting properly. If all these issues existed when the job was completed, why did you approve final payment?  Some of these issues occur with normal use of a pool and unfortunately we are a business and have a Service Fee of $595 to send someone to you to come out and assess and fix your issues, we have to pay our installers and getting them to you. Our Labor Warranty is like every other service industry, i.e. Appliances, Furniture etc.  When the Warranty period is up, a Fee for the service is charged.  We are a business!

******* **** *********************** I would not recommend them for anyone looking to install a Kayak pool. When we initially ordered the pool, the steps we wanted may not be in stock when they installed and we agreed that if that was the case we would have remove the liner and pay for the water again when the steps came in this was in 21. We agreed, took until ******************************************************************************************************************************* we noticed and the installer there was a defect with the liner and would need to be replaced. Again waited another year. We just had installed last month, which is the worst looking one of all installs. SO many wrinkles and the installed tells us after the fact that "its too cold to be installing these pools now" and I don't know why they schedule them. We are so disappointed and disgusted with them. They also did not pay us for reimbursment of water, - said it was the manufacturers problem, never mentioned that when we told them about the defect in 2022. I would not use this company.

We appreciate your review, unfortunately your liner was backordered for 2 years by the manufacturer due to Covid which we had no control over.  The folds and creases in the liner should come out naturally once the weather warms up.  Our installers were there doing the work in 55 degree weather and wouldn't have installed a liner in the cold weather ever, as they are trained professionals and know when not to install a liner. Furthermore, if you read your Contract, it states that this is a Manufacturers Warranty issue.  We did not charge you any labor to come fix the liner for you.  We did what you needed and could for you and hope you can now enjoy your pool for years to come.

Awful customer service - Leisure King Pools is the authorized representative for Kayak Pools (in Maryland and elsewhere). It all started last April with a hard-sell from the salesperson. I was told the installation would start in about three weeks (end of April) if I signed today. I did and gave a deposit. I was told the installer would contact me in advance to work through logistics. Checked in May when I didn't hear from anyone. In June I was told that the materials were behind due to COVID and delivery issues (okay fair enough). About a month later I got an email IN ALL CAPS from the owner who bitterly complained about people bothering him about delivery and install. About a month after that I got a notice that the materials were being drop shipped. Tthe materials did get delivered. I got a call from a man who said he was going to do the install - he came over and we set the date to install. He was not able to enter my backyard the way the salesperson said was do-able but my kind neighbor allowed him to access through his yard. Day one he took down a section of my privacy fence and we realized it was much too wet to continue with the excavation. He went on to do an install at anothers location (fair enough). Well it dried up and I called, called, called him, finally called Leisure King Pools - only to be yelled at by the owner. I called Kayak Pools - I learned was the manufacturer and didn't manage the authorized representatives. Eventually the installer called back, showed up and installed the pool - in July. The installer was the saving grace of the whole debachle. He was kind, organized, obviously over-worked. We arranged for him to close the pool in October. October happens and we arranged a day for him to close the pool. He showed up - started to pump water out of the pool, told me watch the water lever, that he was going to run his young son for a quick haircut and be back in an hour. That was the last I heard from him.

I would like to respond to this "complaint" to the Leisure King ********************** website even though we have no responsibility for your compaint.  You mention you contacted Leisure King for a pool and purchased one, yet refer to "it started in April with a hard-sell from the salesperson" as if we just knocked on your door and forced you to buy a pool.  You certainly know a good deal when you see one!  You basically had your pool ordered, delivered and installed all within the proper time frame, give or take a few delays for "normal" reasons, i.e. you were not available for 2 weeks (you were going away); bad weather; also as stated along with the other "terms & conditions" on the contract, the customer is responsible to supply the Contractor access to your yard and therefore when we could not get in, we DID move on to other installations that were waiting (just like you were waiting!)   So far everything went WELL!!  It seems your complaint is NOT WITH LEISURE KING, but with the sub-contractor - that YOU hired to CLOSE your pool for the season.  You made a deal directly with the Installer, separately from Leisure King **********************, AFTER your pool was installed and used for the season!  I'm sorry this did not work out for you and find it unfair that your involved us to put the blame on.  I guess maybe we should rate you one of our "One Star" customer's!

I RATE THEM 0. Terrible ***************** They advertise financing. I was approved and signed papers with a financial company. Pool was installed and I rec'd a call from *****. She told me they had not yet rec'd their money and I needed to pay for the pool. She said they had bills to pay and they needed their money She said they could get me financing at a higher rate that day. I said I had already signed all the papers. She said that company was having issues and probably going bankrupt. I said I would have to withdraw from the loan app. before I would fill out another app. I then got an email and the brokering finance company said I could withdraw. I said ok but I would not until I rec'd something from the servicing finance company that I gave permission to get money from my bank account. I never heard anymore. Almost everyday I rec'd calls from a rep from Leisure ************** threatening to come and get the pool if I did not pay for it that day. I finally get the information from the funder who informed me that they were still working on the loan and they were not going bankrupt but were behind which had been explained to Leisure King *********************** AGAIN, AGAIN, AGAIN AND AGAIN I was harassed by the rep from Leisure ************** who threatened me about coming and getting the pool. I am 74 years old and never have I ever been treated so rudely. I really think they were trying to scam me into getting a loan at a higher rate. I told her I would apply for another loan but I would not let them do it and whichever came in first, they would get paid. I applied for a additional loan but the original loan came through first. The lender called and told me they were paid and apologized to me that I was treated so badly. I am now going to send them an email to obtain a paid in full receipt from them. Pool is great - BE WARNED get it from another company.

In response to your comments, you should have all the facts straight before you slander our company.  The finance company decided they couldn't pay us for you and 25 other of our clients.  And as your know, our Contract specifically states "you are responsible for your financing, we only offer it as a service".  It was a very unfortunate, time consuming problem for ALL involved.  Of course we needed to be paid, as you were swimming in your pool for 2 months when WE paid for your pool 3 months before that, so we could get it delivered & installed.  Which we then had to pay the trucker & Installers too.  How much longer were we supposed to wait? How could this be a scam when YOU have the pool in your yard!?  You advised us you were applying for a loan and never got back to us when we DID find & offer you alternate financing.  Everyone out there who is involved in any home improvements etc. know what's going on with the banks, rates and finance companies just "going out of business".  You can go and check out for yourselves, our hands were tied.  We do everything to help our customers obtain whatever help/guidance they require because we DO know what's going on out there and try to do right by all involved.  We apologize that you feel we should've handled the situation differently, the bottom line is that your pool was installed, up & running and you were swimming it and we werent paid.  Therefore, we did what any company would do, we called you a few times to follow-up on the "loan" you said you applied for to find out WHEN we would be paid.
