I Hired Jorge with J&C seal coat to extend my asphalt driveway. I quality of the job was extremely poor & not at all what I requested him to do. I've already paid him & does not want to refund my money to hire someone else.

The customer hired me for two jobs. The first job we did, he was happy with and paid me. The second job, which is the part he is not happy with, he never paid me for. As soon as he told me he was unhappy, I was out there the next day with my equipment, material and workers to fix it to his satisfaction, but the customer refused to let me fix it and called the cops on me. There is nothing to refund as the customer did not pay for the second part of the job. I had to throw away the materials I brought to address his concerns ad pay my team for the time they were at the site and not allowed to work.
The customer is paying for patch jobs because he did not want to pay for a whole new driveway from the start but is expecting it to look like a brand new driveway. This will never be possible. The customer is trying to get a $12,000-$15,000 job for $4,000.Business response

Incorrect, I hired you for 1 job only. Your team did not do the job as I requested. I gave you the check in good faith because you requested the money not because I was "happy" with your work. I came back the next day from work only to see the imperfections/lousy results. I paid you extra to do it correct & it still wasn't done right Your men left an uneven driveway & a dip where the 2 patches met. (Check the pics for reference) That's when I reached out to you to do it all over again & you agreed, only then to have the Whole left side extension completely ruined. My frustration is you continued to want to repair it when it's a new extension, NOT a "patch **** ****** only answer to fix it was to go over it again and level if. Not once where you ever on the job site to ensure the requirements I asked were met & the job was done correctly. Never did you tell me what I needed was actually a new driveway instead of what I requested & regrettably hired you to do. Not once did you offer any other recommendations or advice for my driveway, you alone said it can be done & promised you were capable to do exactly what I requested. Don't lie. As far as calling the cops, you never responded to my request to not be on my property without me, you continued to go against my wish. I do not trust you have the ability or your crew to perform the task you have failed 3 times to do correctly. Refund me the money to hire another company Or I will continue to escalate the case & further action. I've had multiple contractors come & look at your work, all have already quoted me less than your bogus number of $12k-$15k to do it all new correctly, not a patch, not half, not an extension, all new. Choose what you want to do. You are a ************* Let the pictures show for itself.
