We purchased windows for our home from Lowes last year. They were installed in JANUARY 2021 by SOUTHALL. In March, the sealant on ALL windows started having multiple cracks. I also found that my bathroom window's sill was cut short there the bottom lip is separate from the frame. I shared both concerns with Lowe's and sent images of the same, asked them to send their contractor out again to RECHAULK. Southhall came out to chaulk OVER THE TEARED chaulk instead of rechaulking. I told them that this is unacceptable and they they have to rechaulk all my windows from the interior. Lowe's told me that they will come out again to rechaulk and replace the one part of the window which was cut short. The part came in in April. Now came to scheduling *****************@gmail.com, which didn't happen till September. Mind you, they offered no availability from April to August to fix, even after requests from Lowe's and myself. They first offered a scheduled time, only because I had a new job for Lowe's for my home and Southhall was to be sent out to measure again FOR A NEW JOB, but I made it clear that I won't work with Southhall till my window job is finished, is when Southhall finally gave me a scheduled time, ONE TIME FRAME, for which I was not in town for, they were then rescheduled in September. Long story short, we finally got them to come out. They changed the scheduled time again on me again the last minute, and I was not able to accommodate being home for them. My wife was home. They came but did not replace the part (stating its not needed), when in fact they never picked it up from my Lowe's, and didn't rechaulk all of my windows. If the part wasn't needed, Lowe's would have not ordered it for me in March. My work is still not finished 10 months out, but Southhall doesn't care, and one person at Lowe's who cared and was knowledgeable has left. Southhall has been very unprofessional in the way they conducted my project.Business response
