6 June 2022 was the date of ******************* Electric was contracted by Interior by Designs to relocate an outlet and mount a flat screen TV at my residence in ***********.On a phone call that took place on June 9th with ******* who is the owners daughter she stated that the Electricians rate is 125 for the first hour and 65 for each additional hour.2 Electricians were sent to this job when only 1 was needed. Any licensed or competent electrician can complete a outlet relocation and mount a TV in 2 hours to 2 hours and 30 minutes.I feel I am being paying for incompetency and lack of knowledge of the electrical field by ******* which billed Interior by Designs who then added a 20% mark up fee.I feel do to my age both companies took advantage of me and were preying upon an elderly person.I have attached the invoice by Interiors by Design which shows a $988 dollar bill that includes the $850 fee from the electricians and a 20% markupBusiness response

The owner's son in law is not correct on the install of the 65" **. In order to safely install the ** without the chance of either hurting our men or damaging the ** it would take 2 guys.
The rate we charge is the going rate, we do not over charge customers. ****** was an ******** electrician, he probably knows something however he doesn't understand the total cost of running a business. There are labor, fuel, material and insurance costs that he doesn't recognize. His complaint is totally unfound, and the fact he's stating we're incompetent and lack of knowledge is totally slanderous. The only thing he's looking for is a deduct in the original charge. We've been in business fort over 40 years, so I think we know what we are doing. Also as he states all involved took advantage of the elderly, that's a total lie. I think he's slandering both ******* Electric and Designs and at this point should be glad we both don't file charges against him. The company representative we were working for was present during the total install which took over 4 hours, not a few hours as he states. We did remove the trip charge and did a small price deduct then resent the invoice to Design.
