The Owner Dwayne Kennedy entered an agreement to clear my residential land of cut trees, overgrown bushes/grass, & a damaged shed, to prepare my current residence to be placed on the market to be sold. I gave him a second chance after he'd already not began the work an entire 3 weeks or more after he'd promised to be begin. The 2 day took several weeks, & he ended up asking for $250 more than what he'd initially quoted, even though he'd surveyed the job before accepting it. 8/23/2021 $750 payment was given, after being notified by the owner "the job has been completed & your yard is now sale ready". However, when I got to the residence, it wasn't the case at all. The work he'd supposedly done differed from what he presents on his facebook & publicity post. Not only did the Owner not fulfill the promised job in its entirety, but damaged by grass, I came to the property on multiple occasions finding trash in the front yard from the workers, & by phone, in person & via text, the Owner promised to refund me at least /1/2 of the paid money back no later than 10/15/21, & as of this day has since not responded to my attempt to make contact with him. When we did speak, he was very unprofessional in stating "All my money tied up in another job that I haven't been able to get a draw own cause it is incomplete & the money I had I paid my bills for the month. I'm sorry Pam disappointed you but my finances just ain't there right now so don't think I'm avoiding you. I'm being straight up with you & pride a lil hurt as a man but trying Pam." I had to let him know that was a very unprofessional response when conducting business. The next conversation via text, he responded saying he'd just gotten out of jail, but I'd get paid 10/15. I'm going through a divorce, funds are minimum, and I know he took advantage of me & that I'm kind-hearted & known for being faithful in the church. However, I don't want anyone else to be taken advantage of, & I'd appreciate a refund as promisedBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2021/11/30) */ Contact Name and Title: Dwayne Kennedy Contact Phone: 8502818021 Contact Email: [email protected] Our company has continued to please MS. **** however nothing was enough our company did a professional job there and return several other times to correct MS **** situation our company has preformed way more work on the property then the job was actually quoted for Ms. **** husband left the property back yard especially a complete mess we mowed and trimmed lawn front and back cut liabilities from roof away cut fence line back so you could see the lot hauling debris to the Escambia County landfill and last but least we removed a big pile of cut lumber a huge pile which is where the $250 difference came in which made her total be $750 we feel we performed more than enough work efforts on the servicse asked of MS ****
