My wife and I have put in two separate applications the morning of 2/24/22. We paid a total of $100 for two applications. We also did a required pet screening the previous day which was about $40. On 2/25, we were contacted via email stating that we needed proof that out jobs are transferable to the area we are moving to. Everything up to this point was understandable. The next email I got was requesting more income from 4 months ago even though I had provided the last 4 paystubs that were requested. At that point, I emailed back on 5/25/22 asking for a number I could call directly. I never got a response back. I called the local office about 10 times and could not get and answer. I also called and texted Georgia, who was the representative that we were working with. I've called her multiple times and could not get and answer and I have also texted her multiple times and could not get an answer. The communication stopped once we paid our application fee which is why I believe this is a scam. I would like to be reimbursed my application fees and also be contacted by the local office. The lack of professionalism is unreal.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/03/06) */ Consumer applied on Thursday, late afternoon. The application and financial application fee was processed by the system and entered into our program early Friday morning (12:16am). 3 emails describing the missing items that were needed to complete the application were sent Friday at 8:19, 8:20 and 1:52 pm. The applicant then proceeded to call the office late Friday multiple times (over 10 times within an hour) and demand a return phone call. As explained in an email, we only communicate in writing during the tenant screening process. This ensures accuracy in the information required and provided during the application process. The application qualifications are listed on our website, on a flyer in the home and in the application process itself. Multiple times, applicants are directed to review the criteria before applying. The items requested were clearly outlined in writing and the applicant never provided the required documentation to complete the application to be processed. We wish them in finding a future rental home.
