They are under multiple civil and criminal investigations. Do not hire then. If you're a victim, take action by calling ****, LAW ENFORCEMENT and a civil attorney specializing in construction law. Call law enforcement in your city to file complaint.

My husband and I hired Alco windows and doors in January of 2024 to replace four window and a door in our house. April of 2024, I found out that nothing had been ordered because we didn't give them a deposit so they recommended a company to finance the job, and we wouldn't have to make a payment until the job was completed. So, we did that, and **** got half of the money to build the windows. They told us that our windows and door would be installed by the end of August. It's now October and they won't answer my calls or call me back and they haven't pulled any permits. This company is very shady. We lost our house in the flood of 2023 that happened in *************** because our back windows were to low and we got three feet of water in our house. Now I'm afraid we are going to have to pay for the deposit that we gave them. There are so many reliable windows and door companies in ***** and ***************, and we had to hire the worst one. So sad! All we want is to get this issue resolved and get our windows, so we don't have to worry every time it rains

Be very careful with this company. I am pending work to be performed on my home since November 2023 (Impact front Door) As of today, September 26 2024 just shy of a year I still do not have the front door replaced. Sales person ****** ******* will promise you the world but once they make the sale and get their commission they are no where to be found. They stopped all contact with me "The client" since August. I cannot express enough my disappointment with Alco. Deposit on hand since 2023 and no work has been performed. Thank the Lord I didnt contract them for the windows replacement, I would of been out of thousands and thousands of dollars. I am advising everyone to be extremely careful about entering any contract with Alco Windows and Doors. Do your research on other platforms because I got fooled by the reviews of ****** with 5 stars please read into the important reviews 1 star and get your ***** because the injustice that they are performing is extremely unethical. I can't beg you enough if you are reading this: run away from Alco windows and Doors.

I am writing to formally address a serious compliance issue I have encountered with ALCO Windows and Doors. As a homeowner, I have experienced significant problems with their services that I believe is a breach of Florida Statute Section *******. This statute restricts contractors from collecting more than 10% of the contract price as an initial payment without securing the necessary permits within 30 days. On August 25, 2023, ALCO Windows collected 100% of the project funds upfront but has failed to complete the job as of August 8, 2024. Despite numerous requests for a refund, **** has stated they will retain 30% of the total amount for cancellation. They missed the 30-day permit requirement and the 90+ day completion timeline. Regrettably I missed this window of opportunity to escape my current nightmare! I have been misled with fake order numbers and false claims regarding the status of my order, including incorrect information about the manufacturer's involvement. They hired a subcontractor that caused significant damage to my property and new windows, although **** attempted to address immediate issues, the overall job remains incomplete. As a result, I am left with damaged windows, no front door, wondering if exterior repairs will be made and no resolution for the permit issue or monetary compensation. My family and I are completely emotionally drained! I advise others who may be experiencing similar issues with ALCO Windows and Doors in *****, **, to consult a lawyer. To request a full refund under Florida Statute Section *******, please ensure to send a certified letter via certified mail to comply with Florida law. This information is publicly available. Please do your due diligence and research. I am not a lawyer. I find ****'s actions to be deceptive and unfair and hope this message assists others in seeking a resolution. Sincerely, ********************

On February 8th, 2024, I signed a contract with Alco Windows and Doors to have all the windows in my house replaced. At the time of sale, I was assured a 10-week lead time, with installation scheduled for the end of April. However, my experience has been far from satisfactory. In April, I called to confirm the installation date and was informed by *************************** that the installation had been moved to the end of June. This delay was already frustrating, but things only got worse. On June 10th, ***** advised me that my order had not even been placed due to an internal issue within Alco Windows and Doorsnot a manufacturer issue. The installation was now pushed to August. This critical information was never communicated to me until I proactively reached out.Since then, I have emailed, called, and left voicemails, but I have not received any response. Adding to my frustration, Alco Windows and Doors has my money, leaving me stuck in a bind with no clear resolution in sight. The lack of communication and professionalism from Alco Windows and Doors is unacceptable. I feel completely neglected and disrespected as a customer.Overall, my experience with ******************** has been incredibly disappointing and frustrating. They need to improve their customer service and internal processes significantly. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I wish I had read the reviews on ****** before signing a contract with this contractor. My wife and I signed an agreement in October 2023 and were told everything should be ready in late January. Then began our nightmare. After that, we called every month and always had the same excuse. Mr. ****** the manufacturer, changed the policies, and the job would be rolled over to next month. Well, here we are, May 5th, and we are still waiting for someone from **** to have the decency to call us to confirm our project. This contractor only cares about sales and then forgets about the customer. I must note that they charged the whole loan without completing the job when signing the contract and getting the lender's approval. That is something that was not in the contract. After that, we contact the lender to express our concern about the procedures. When the lender denied the loan, they said they would charge only half and the other at the end of the job. So, be aware of this scamming procedure if you get a contract with them. This delay has affected our ability to lower your premium insurance, and the hurricane season is almost there. We are considering filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, The Attorney General States of Florida, and whoever we can talk to because this is terrible business practice.
