  In September, I made a purchase with Petland, for an AKC Pure Bred Golden Retriever. However, after a recent veterinary visit with Miami-Dade county the Vet confirmed he is not a Golden Retriever, he is a Yellow Labrador Retriever. Not only was the sale of the puppy misrepresented and fraudulent; the loan application I have come to find out was submitted through several institutions and falsified without my knowledge. The income reported on the application stated I earn an income of $5,500 a month which is completely inflated for the associates benefit. The purchase amount of the fraudulent sale was in the amount of $6,423.98.I am outlining the complaint that was also filed with the Attorney General in *******. It appears this type of transaction is quite prevalent with Petland. There has been class action lawsuits filed against Petland from numerous consumers for same said issues. 1. Misrepresentation: The puppy purchased does not coincide with the provided AKC Certificate and advertisement in the store. 2. Fraudulent Loan Application: Subsequent to this transaction, I found out my income was inflated to get an approval after being sent to numerous institutions. I was told in the store the payments would be $65.00 per month. The charges on my credit card statement from two different revolving credit accounts total over $200.00 per month. Which I did not authorize or consent to. These charges are a clear violation of my financial security and other consumers that *** be purchasing pets from the store. 3. ********************** When I attempted to contact your customer service department to resolve these issues, I was met with a complete run around and sent to contact Pet Solutions. It is unacceptable that your company would not assist in rectifying a fraudulent transaction and fraudulent certificate showing the incorrect breed of the dog.

  At the time of purchase, the customer was given documents with important information, which includes information on our business's limited warranty for the customer. There are specific instructions for the customer in said documents, and requirements that must be followed for effectiveness of the limited warranty. Said instructions and requirements were not followed by the customer. The business has not done anything wrong, and has acted according to the limited warranty provided to the customer.

  I am rejecting this response because: Petland falsified my loan application with an incorrect income amount, my pay stubs do not reflect the amount that was inputted. As well as lied about the dogs breed.
