      Absolutely the worst health insurance, I’ve ever had. I went through an agent Alliance To sign up for health insurance since I retired, they asked what are my main services I must have, I said keep my doctor of 20 + years and it must be a PPO. I went to the doctors this year 2024 with this new generic insurance got on speaker phone with my dr, they said we don’t pay for office visits or pay my doctors share I’m like WHAT?!?! They (Alliance agent) gave me all the information said I would have United Health care with co pay, RX etc., then I get a email stating I have this insurance NEO insurance I thought ok, come to find out I’m paying $300.00 a Month plus they take another $43.00 for P.I.A. What’s that ? I Called them you get no answers customer service doesn’t know anything, on top of this they do not pay or reimburse for any prescriptions I have to pay cash, so what am I paying all this money for?? I’m going to cancel this scam insurance, DO NOT BUY THIS INSURANCE!!!

      3/1/24. Needed a plan for a few months until ******** kicked in. They took my premiums and now have yet to pay my claims. I have called to no avail. One claim is from May of 2023 and one claim is from Nov 2023. No resolution nor decision made by the insurance company on either claim. I have filed a complaint with the ******* of Insurance.

      BEWARE!!!! It is a mesh of scam, by the time you figure out you are scammed, they would have already taken your money and gone with it. I fell for the trap late last month where I was sold the insurance with multiple fake carriers (by the way all the names were made up and doesnt exist anywhere on the internet) soon after checking online about the product, like literally within 20 mins of buying with them I called them back to know who exactly was my insurance carrier was so they said all those details and my card will come in the mail within **** business days. I immediately called my bank to block my card and dispute the charge as soon as it gets posted but they did not release my money rather I ended up losing my time, money and most importantly trust on such online companies making money by scamming people those who are already struggling medically and may be financially too to get a better health insurance. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS SCAMMING COMPANY!!! There should a legal complaint against them in the district court because it overall impacts the credibility of a particular region where these scammers are operating from.

      This is a scam. Not real insurance. I think a lot of companies popped up after the *************** Act scamming people into thinking that they were actual insurance companies. The function of this company is to sell you "insurance" through a myriad of "insurance" providers so that you won't have to pay the government penalty for being uninsured. What's funny is that I chose the "short term medical coverage-Traditional 2" but when you have any complaints, the company will claim that they are not actual medical insurance. They sell/market as if they ARE indeed an insurance carrier. I had a claim for an ER visit from June 2022 that was never processed because they sent me a form for my "employer" to fill out to make sure is wasn't a work injury. It was an injury at home and I am not employed. The hospital and myself were unable to reach the claims department. I even called at the time of opening and was told I was "caller #1" and still had to hold for 15 minutes. The customer service rep suggested I "stop answering the calls from the hospital billing department"- I kid you not! I guess this is how they handle claims- just don't pick up the phone. Don't make the same mistake I made- do you research!

      they Took money out of my account for a new health insurance policy, now they hang up and no calls back, scam I don't know why we have to select a star rating? This should be considered a scam

      My issue with NEO Insurance was with my terrible experience with policy cancelation and refund process. On 15 Dec 2023, I canceled my wife and daughter's policies, which bills monthly on the 28th and 18th, respectively. That day, I spoke with the cancelation department who stated that the cancelation must be completed on a form (which I completed to its entirety). I then received an email later in the day, stating that I needed to provide a "valid ID number for both policies." I then realized this was a delay tactic for them to charge another month of service. Especially since the form clearly states to provide a "policy or contract number" which I provided. Even though I am allowed to speak on both policies, not all members on the cancelation team knew it which added to the delays. In fact, on 21 Dec someone on the cancelation team hung up on me after she advised I speak with a supervisor. I called in again and spoke with someone who expressed that she was sorry her colleague did not know I could speak on the policies. So, then I asked about my refund for the Dec 18th charge, and she stated I may not get it. I told her that the cancelation was on the 15th Dec, as stated on the form. She stated she will look into it but wasn't guaranteed. My primary issue is that I have wasted time between emails, phone calls, and a process that seems designed to cause delays. It was a frustrated experience and begs the questions. Why am I digging up numbers that "starts with NEO67 or 68" which is not mentioned on the form? Why am I emailing back and forth to cancel policies with their outdated form? Why do some see me as an authorized party? And others do not? Why hang up on customers?

      I purchased insurance through this company a year ago. It was supposed to have $25 copays for doctors, $40 copay for specialists. I carefully looked up clinics that were on the network. I have been to the doctor for routine things about 6 timesan ear infection, sinus infection, sprained foot, etc. I have now discovered that they have not covered ONE SINGLE VISIT. Doctors offices report that the company asks for documents, which the clinics send, but they never receive any remuneration. When they call they are put on hold for excessively long times, are hung up upon, or reach someone who says they have reached the wrong department. Someone is perpetrating FRAUD, and should be investigated.

      I was attempting to find health insurance, and after providing my driver's license and social security information, the company requested my checking account number. I refused to provide my account number as I had not received any email or paperwork. The supervisor spoke to me with an angry tone, calling me a terrible person for not complying with their request. I believe that this company is not legitimate, and their unprofessional behavior toward customers is unacceptable. I am grateful I did not sign up with them.

      Stay away! **** ALERT!!! Oct 3rd I called for a very simple request. My child needs speach therapy and I need 1 specific medication....the guy tells me the plan he's offering me is great for my needs. Oct 31st my medication doesn't show up come to find out my insurance doesn't cover it. Nov. 3rd I received a call from child's speach therapist guess what they said....they don't accept this insurance. So I call the state of NC and find out they sold me short term health that basically covers nothing along with a discount program that I didn't ask for and was not made aware of. I immediately called and demanded a refund. They did give me the refund but Nov. 4th a random charge has been put on my card from another insurance agency in the same area in florida (im in NC) that i have NEVER spoken with. Now i have canceled my card and cannot do anything this weekend in order for my bank account to stay safe.....stay away from this company. I wish I would have read these reviews before working with them. Lesson learned!! As a salesman myself I want my customers happy, returning and sending referrals. Clearly this company doesn't feel the same way.
