I hired *** and signed a contract on 6/24/23 for impact windows and doors at my residence. It took 5 months til they were installed on 11/27/23. After install, the front door was not the door ordered and made an addendum on 12/1/23 for it. It took over 6 months to come and install the correct front door. Since install the door had issues when closing it, it will open on its own. After numerous calls and no responses and hearing excuses of being in the hospital, vacation, manufacturer issues I find out that the individuals whom I signed contract with ***** ************** ******** are no longer with the company. They did attempt to fix the issue many times but made it worse each time by drilling the hole larger, etc and not fixing the issue! Waiting months and trying to locate someone, as none of the addresses or phone numbers listed are valid I find one of the managers **** ******** and its now 11/2024. He comes out to the home to see the issue and tells me that the manufacturer will redo the door and they will come out and replace it. Unfortunately that has still not happened! Last I heard from **** was 3/7/25 via text. After various texts, voicemail messages to call me nothing. They have ghosted me!!! It is May ******* and I still do not have a properly closing front door. And I paid full already and for a design which was never installed due to promising to change the door. Very disappointing that they take advantage of paying customers and do not show face when issues arise! This work has a lifetime warranty and there is no one to contact!!!! I contracted with *** on 9/26/24 to reinstall and replace windows and doors. To date, the project is still incomplete. The contractor is good at responding to my inquiries. Job completed January 10th, 2025. Paid $11,850 for impact slider windows on the second floor of my condo. First complaint- I was quoted & paid for scaffolding, ect because it was the second floor. The workers did not use scaffolding when installed. Scheduling & permitting was fine.Second complaint- the finishing of the job or lack there of. There are scratches to the frame, hand prints on the outside of the window that I cannot reach to clean, there is caulk on the screen, caulk on the frame, caulk on my carpet, debris in the track, dirt on my walls, red spots still on my carpet, ect. They also chipped my door frame bring the windows inside. Very sloppy & unfinished. I had reached out to ***** via email with *********** spoke on the phone. He said he would schedule a crew to come back and clean up. If that didnt work then he would give me $150 for carpet cleaning. I have not heard back. It is now almost February. Resolution- I would like someone to come back and clean the carpet, finish caulking, fix the scratches on the frame. If that cant happen then I want money back. I have contracted Americas service group to provide me with hurricane windows through the my safe Florida home program. I signed my contract on March 9 ***** and gave them a deposit of $5000. I have yet to receive my windows! It has been 18 weeks!I was told that it would be 4-6 weeks most likely but could take up to 12 weeks. I started to call the company on 5-13-2024 to find out what was happening. After 4 calls I received a call from ************************* who said he was the contractor with the company. He told me on 6/7/24 that his company had ordered the wrong color of vinyl and that the manufacturer would have to start over with the order. Ok, I get it , mistakes can happen. I was very nice and understanding. He said that it would take another 3-4 weeks but he would try to get the manufacturer to put a rush on the order. On 6/28/24 after 3 calls to **** that day, I heard from **** that some of the windows were completed but the manufacturer was waiting for the glass. **** stated that he would call me on July 2 or 3 with an update. I did not hear from him and called him on July 3. He stated that there was no change and that 50% of the windows were completed and the rest were still pending. Since the manufacturer would be closed for the July 4th holiday he said he would call me on 7/8/24 and get me on his schedule for installation.. It is now 7/18/2024 and I have yet to hear from **** or anyone from ASG. I have reached out several times by phone to him and *********************, who was the salesman who sold me the windows. I also sent an email on 7/16/24. I just received an email response ( after I called again) that it will take another 4 weeks. I thinks that is ridiculous and want a refund.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I agreed to wait more 3 weeks for windows to be ordered. That is August 13th . I told ****** that I would only give him the 3 weeks he requested. I feel very skeptical that this project will be completed at all, let alone in 3 weeks. I feel that this case is not closed until I get my windows PROPERLY INSTALLED or until I receive my refund.

This business was paid in full by a loan that I requested from my bank in January before they even started the job. Since then I have nothing but headaches, many phones call speak to different people. They start doing the work little by little to the point that they put two different kind of windows that is not acceptable. They both told me that windows will be replace after inspection now they both dont answer phone calls or email. I did not accept this kind of work from day one.

Like I said before I did not agree with the four different windows installed in my house. **************************** with phone number ************ and his supervisor **** with phone number ************ told me that after inspection go through they will come back and replace the windows. Never agreed with the windows install differently. Now neither one are returning my call or text. This company with employees like those is a fraud. Attention, I Have trusted this company for they can change my windows on October *******. The salesperson very respectfully person and sound, he knows what it is talking about he let us know that will be make and install the windows in 6 to 8 weeks. I never had a problem with any company. I signed a contract with Americas services Groups on October *******, its passed 6 month and not windows installer and $1,000 dollars deposits, we check in the city to see if they have a permanent and we can NOT find anything. After 4 promises of installation, date set up not windows installs and multiple call with office, and 4 different people that they said are the owner of the company. Not installation.After 25 weeks they said that they received the windows with the wrong colors and let him know I can take it with the wrong color and said that they returned to the manufactory.Went I call no answers and they said that they going to call me back and not call back either.On Friday 04/12/2024 they said they will be taking another 3 weeks. This issue is about ************************************ our home.The job approximately $30,000.00. The job has been paid in full All we want is for this company to come replace the glass in a window that they installed broken/cracked. They have even been back to remeasure the window in order to replace the glass, they just wont respond to any of our text about actually fixing this last window. We did today, 4/10/2024 have a response from our salesperson, after we send another group text, his response was we should threaten them with a bad on line review!The contract was signed on 4/20/2023, it is now 4/10/2024, The work is still not completed.They have responded to most of the following punch list:One window was installed with factory defect. A second window was installed with a crack.Two windows leaked.The interior window trim on 12 windows had to be removed/replaced due to very poor cutting angles/match-up points, they threw away three window curtain tie back/pull backs, they threw out 2 complete curtain rod sets. They put new window trim board directly over a pair of curtain ******************* arms- in which we could not access the screws that held the holder onto the trim-so the metal bracket was sandwiched between the old trim and the new trim.They filled, with 2 inch's of caulking, a gap where the window would not set into the old fame,Business Response

The business committed to providing a hurricane Door that fit our front door as a double French door. The installed door had a noticeable gap between the two French Doors and had a ledge upon entering the home that was 1 inch tall, causing guests to trip. They acknowledged the faulty door and promised to replace with the correct sized door as written up in a contract. They then went no contract. I have been attempting to contact them since. Payment in full was not collected as customer refused the door after install claiming that they did not like the door or how door operated, The customer refused service and requested a new door from a new manufacture, We have ordered a new upgraded door and no additional cost for the customer and are awaiting arrival of the door so that we can install the door. I entered into a contract with ASG 5/4/22. The project was to install a new front door, inclusive of custom paint, a nest lock, door handle, reinforcement of opening and the necessary permits. I was informed that because my door was non standard size, the project would take five months to complete. In 10/22, I began calling ASG to ascertain when the door would be installed. I received the run around, and was oft times told someone would call me back after they had spoken to the manufacturer. I never received callbacks and communication was only had at my initiation. Finally, I was contacted via text message by ****** to say that installation would occur on 12/22/22. When I attempted to confirm, he informed me that they were having trouble with the custom paint and installation would be delayed. We conversed again via text on 1/4/23 and agreed to install the door on 1/10/23.The installers arrived on 1/10/23 and installed the door. At the end of the day, as the contractors were cleaning up, I was contacted via telephone by ****. He told me that the contractors had to come back on Friday, 1/13/23 to complete the installation. He said that they needed to install the door design inserts, paint the reinforcement fittings, install the lock that they ordered, as well as an exterior door handle and a piece of marble footing. After which, he asked for a $4,000 payment, and would collect the remaining $600 on 1/13/23. As of 1/20/23, I have not heard anything from ASG. I have made several calls and text messages to every phone number I have. No one will return my calls or text messages and no one has returned to my home to complete the project. The contractual terms have not been met and my door installation is unfinished. I have been extremely patient but ASG and/or its subcontractors lack basic communication skills, professionalism and integrity. All I am seeking is the completion of my project.
