We ordered a transmission from Rickys Auto, June 9, 2021 and paid $4,641.78. The faulty transmission had to be shipped back to Rickys Auto February 24, 2022 as it was still covered under warranty. Rickys Auto originally stated they woul have repairs completed in 2-3 months and would return the repaired transmission. They continue to give us excuse after excuse and they have not followed through with any promises. I spoke with **** on 3/1/2023 and he advised the transmission will be ready by March 10th and I arranged Central Transport to pick up March 10th 2023. **** cancelled pick up when our truck arrived, have not communicated any of this and have not returned any phone calls or emails. We still have not received this transmission and *****'s Auto is no longer communicating with my office or provided any kind of updates. This has been going on for over a year and still have no answers from Rickys Auto. We run a reputable business and this transmission is a big part of what we do for a living and have been unable to use this truck. We are losing a lot of money daily as we are unable to use this truck and the frustrating part is we have no answers from the company we have trusted with our transmission. Rickys Auto Center is not a reputtable company and don't want to see others burned in the process. I'm writing this complaint in hopes you can help with getting the operational transmission back to us in a timely manner. Appreciate you looking into thisInitial Complaint

On April 13 2022 i dropped off my 2021 Ram **** with a transmission issue 5th 6th gear wouldn't work the the owner ***** charged my ***** dollars to fix the issue assured me it would be done withing that month and gave a 2year warranty for the job building my transmission with stronger internals for towing May 25th 2022 i picked up my truck withing one hour of driving my check engine light came on and i took the truck back ***** put the computer on the truck and it said improper 6th gear ratio after re setting my light and sending me on the way saying to give it time the next day the truck blew out the 6th gear and wouldn't go over 50mph i took the truck back and now ***** the owner says Hes too full that he will call me when he can honor the warranty that he has no space for my truck this man ask for money in cash so his customers have no ability to claim money back for his bad practices horrible shop does not honor warranty as claimed I've sent my truck to another shop that will dismantle this transmission take picture's of the job and i will go after my money from this scam of a business i hope better business bureau takes action on your license scamming people out of money with bad workmanship and jobs that are never done correctly ,paying 7 thousand for services that were never rendered cheats and thief's is what this company is
