    I ordered a motorized awning, July 25, 2024. Website said lead time is typically 2 weeks. Once they had my money, I was told it would be "+-4 weeks". Not a big deal but not what I was expecting. The order was shipped at the end of week 4. After opening the box, I found two parts missing. Rocky acknowledged these parts were not shipped and stated he gave them to the office to ship to me. These parts were never received and the Office does not return emails. It is impossible to leave a message with their ****************** because the mail box is full. **** emailed me and said I had to deal with ******, which is the ****************** that does not answer emails or phone calls. I have emails, texts messages and audio recordings to back up my statements. Their website implies they are a BBB Accredited business and they state they have an A+ rating. If you are on this web page you can see neither is true. With the help of a local competitor, I was able to get one of the missing parts and get the awning working. If retractableawnings.com had made things right, answered emails or answered the phone, then shipped the missing parts, my review would have been much different. The awning is beautiful and I believe the quality is very good, but due to the lack of service after the sale I cannot recommend this company.

    My husband and I have been a long-time client (22 years) of RetractableAwnings.com having purchased and installed retractable awnings on 2 homes we owned and now having installed a retractable pergola on our new home on Miami Beach. We could not be more pleased with our most recent and prior purchases. The fabric pergola is super functional and waterproof in that it keeps out 100% the rain – even heavy South Florida rain. The fabric chosen is a vibrant South Florida color and matches our house perfectly. I can’t tell you how impressed we have been over the years with the sales help from Eric and the installation from Rocky and his crew as well as the after sales service when needed. My husband and I will continue to recommend RetractableAwnings.com to family, friends, co-workers and neighbors for extremely high-quality European products, outstanding service allowing our family to have a tranquil outdoor living area protected from the elements especially the sun’s harmful UV rays.

    Tried to order an awning, website was broken and when I clicked on "Complete Order" it wouldn't process with the credit card option selected - the page errored out. I tried selecting *** and it put my order through (with no confirmation page) and I got an email saying they'd send me the *** info? I emailed back and explained the problem, "****" gave me a number to call for "Ivor" that no one answered despite multiple calls (seems like a recurring theme in their reviews!). I let them know I'd ordered from somewhere else and this wasn't a great way to treat customers, and the owner replied, "Your error! You chose to make payment via ***. You should have chosen credit card to begin with. Also, not my problem that you have no patience. Dont have time for individuals that make poor decisions and that are inpatient. Most likely you would have been a problem upon installation so better we dont have your order. Your email is blocked forever. Nothing will be received if you send it." Completely unprofessional, do not recommend.

    Update 3/15/23:

    RetractableAwnings.com has completed forensic research to show that this individual was using another name as well. That name is ****** with no last name being provided. We are now 100% certain that this is a fake review from a competitor. 

    I find it incredible that a competitor cant simply do a great job for their customers and improve their company name and reputation instead of attempting to negatively review www.retractableawnings.com a family owned business, that has been in business for 37 years, has an incredible reputation in the industry, and has an A- rating at the Better Business Bureau (accredited member for 31 years) and an A rating on ****.com and a winner of 10 IAA industry awards in the last 8 years for international retractable awning and retractable pergola installations!
