I am extremely upset and I have filed a complaint with the BBB against Florida One for wrongfully cancelling my policy at no fault of mine. Florida One claimed I did not provide documentation to the underwriters and that was not the case. I have proof all documentation was indeed provided, however, because they cancelled my policy trying to get insurance has been impossible. I have been trying to get insurance for months, but now the quotes I am getting are absolutely ridiculous - I am a single mom and I get paid $15 p/h and I cannot afford$4000 for 6 months of car insurance. Aside from that because I cannot afford the car insurance my DL has now been suspended. I am in the process of seeking help and I do not know what to do??

This policy was canceled for ** reasons we were calling, texting, and emailing this customer from 05/16/2023 to 06/20/2023 because the information that she sent was incorrect and she never sent the correct one, Also the company sent to her house letters regarding her cancellation. After the cancellation on 06/22/2023, we called her to get new insurance, at that time We would have gotten better insurance because she could still get a discount on her policy for having previous insurance and her license would be valid. But now open a policy after seven months without insurance plus a suspended license, then the price of the policy would be higher. If she wants I can send proof of many times we called her and she never answered back or send the correct information.

They got paid through the title company. I received a notice for termination stating I owed money. I reached out to my loan officer and he explained that the title company had sent the check and everyone got paid. They have been very unprofessional. I have proof of the documentation. This company is the worst
