      Purchased goods from Soviet-Power.com by PayPal for $290.00 who use Western Bid for payments or is the 'merchant of record'.Quickly realized after reading various consumer protection resources hundreds of scam related reports. Immediately canceled order.Can not recover money.Currently going through PayPal disputes.Given the mounting incidents and reports of users terrible dealings with Western Bid **** I'm deeply concerned about the lack of action taken by PayPal in this regard and am reaching out to senior level people at PayPal.

      this company is a scam! i wish i saw that the etsy seller was working through western bid *** before i ever made a purchase. the product i received was faulty (the stand i paid $150 extra for had SPLINTERS all over) and the pieces from the board were loose and fell everywhere regardless if it was in a still standing position. i raised these concerns with the seller and they took weeks to respond to me. i escalated the claim through paypal and western bid only offered a measly refund of $50. i refused it because the amount of money and time i now have to spend fixing my baby's birthday gift is MORE than $50. and for whatever reason and lies that western bid told paypal, paypal also refused to cover these defects. this is complete fraud and this company employs terrible business practices. please don't make the same mistake as i did and make sure you avoid this company and etsy sellers as well.

      This company is trying to process a charge using my PayPal account for something I did not order. The charge if over $100.00. I have never done business with this company. On the same day the charge showed on my account, I received a text showing a passcode for my PayPal. I did not request a passcode. This was tried 5 times in a row and obviously somehow they made it work. I want this company to delete this charge immediately.

      I paid *****usd for a set of handmade pink tarot cards that came with a hand made matching bag and box on oct. 22, 2022. I did not receive it when I asked about why the tracking information showed that it was stuck in ***************** for over a week. I was told that I gave the wrong address information and then the item was being sent back to her the person who works for western bid incorporation on Etsy. Her name on Etsy is tarot cards, dark forest. Her actual name is ******** supposedly. After telling her that the address that I gave her actually, indeed, was correct, because I ordered two other items from two other shops from Etsy as well and receive both of those items with the same exact address that I gave her, she then told me that she would resend the package out, but requested that I repay the shipping fee of like eight or nine dollars or something like that to which I responded that I didnt feel like I should have to pay that over again because it was not my fault that the item did not get delivered properly. My name is on my mailbox. My mail person knows me personally, so theres literally no reason in the world. Why if she put the address on there with the correct name, the way that I sent it to her that it shouldnt have been delivered to me. I requested a refund directly to her and she told me that, rather than give me the refund that I directly requested, she was just gonna pay the shipping and resend the package out to me. To which I responded what does that mean? Are you going to give me my refund and send me the package or are you just gonna send me the package? And from that point on Ive been getting ignored. I messaged her yesterday asking for the the updated tracking information since she said she was sending the package out again received no answer 24 hours later today this morning at about 745. I messaged her again asked her so youre just gonna ignore me? I said once again that I was requesting a refund. Was ignored, so I went to PayPal.

She keeps saying she made contact with the post office and its in route but the website shows no updates or movement from the *********** since May 27, 2022 at 2:00 pm. I asked her for proof of movement, she has not offered me any, I am not trusting the situation at this time.       I purchased a handmade sweater through Etsy. It arrived and was not as expected so I arranged with the seller to return. The seller, who is in *******, uses Western Bid for payment processing. The sweater was sent back just prior to the war breaking out in *******, where this seller is based. She put her Etsy shop KnttDesign (*******************************) on a pause and I could not get a hold of her. After over a month of waiting, I filed a dispute with my Chase Credit Card on 3/2/2022 The seller then reached out to me on 3/4/2022, assured me that once she received the sweater, she would credit me and asked me to close the dispute, which I did at her request on 3/5/2022 (see attached documentation). She receives the sweater on March 11, 2022 and initiates a refund, but Western Bid only refunds me .90 cents on March 18, 2022 on a transaction that was $236.90? The seller states that I still have a dispute filed and this is why they cannot refund the complete amount? I closed the dispute with Chase (see attached) and only reopened it again, this time in writing on March 28th, 2022 since they would only reopen the closed dispute with a handwritten letter. The bottom line, I was shorted the majority of the refund for no valid reasoning. I need to be refunded the remaining $236 dollars that I am owed, the seller has the merchandise back.

      We applied to PP on April 25 to refund the payment - but were refused due to the fact that there is a closed investigation by the bank and the refund may result in double debiting. in connection with which PayPal informed us that we should wait for the resolution of this situation.       We cannot expedite this return due to the fact that the buyer, instead of applying directly to resolve the situation, turned to the Bank and opened a chargeback. Now we are forced to wait for the results of the dispute, while we have notified the consent of the full refund of this transaction.

      We are sorry that there was a delay with the return and to resolve it, we will contact the PayPal manager again so that they can help us with the return. We also ask the buyer to re-contact the bank and ask them to transfer their decision to PayPal - since PayPal did not receive resolutions from the bank on this case, since it is still active on PayPal, which is confirmed by the screenshots above.
