      I recently purchased a semi truck from Ryder used trucks unit number ******. *********** was a great help. Prior to purchasing the truck the check engine light was on. *********** held the sale until the shop advised him that it was repaired. One day after purchasing the truck the check engine light came back on. I also noticed that the tires left on the truck were damaged and dry rotted. I spoke to Makenzie with Ryder Used Truck warranty support division. I have been getting unprofessional assistance and purposely held from getting repairs done. The Ryder Shop located in ********** ******* has been waiting on a finale approval for 2 weeks now and Makenzie continues to state that it is the shop's fault and I know that is false information. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable and heartbreaking after I just recently purchased a $40,000 vehicle from this company.

      Sold one truck to me with severe accident they bought the truck back refused return of my deposit so I could go elsewhere and they refused to return my deposit and would find me a good truck for replacement upon picking the truck up ****************** failure and found that this truck was in a very severe accident as well. Then they told me they went above and beyond on their part. And to be honest I would have never signed for a second truck if I knew it was in a accident which I asked multiple times and told no way that truck was in a accident prior to the sale which I think the whole point of refusing my deposit was to get me to sign something unknowingly releasing their liability on selling me a wrecked truck at a higher value the second time this is very unfair and deceptive behavior.

      On September 7th, 2022, I entered into a leasing agreement with Ryder Corporation for two 26' ft used box trucks on behalf of my company, 4D Trucking & Logistics, **** The agreed-upon monthly payment for each unit was $2,473.68.Despite the terms of our agreement, Ryder was only able to provide us with one truck initially. While a second truck became available in February of 2023, I notified Ryder that we do not require the second truck due to our business needs.However, Ryder continued to charge us for the second truck, which remained unused and idle at their facility. Furthermore, Ryder consistently failed to provide a replacement unit as per our agreement whenever our current truck required servicing, forcing us to incur additional expenses by renting alternative trucks to maintain our operations.Despite multiple attempts to resolve this issue directly with Ryder, including formal written notices and discussions with various representatives, the issue remains unresolved. To date, we have incurred additional expenses totaling $14,842.08 for a truck that we do not require and have explicitly communicated our intention not to utilize.Desired Resolution:Terminate the lease agreement for the second truck, effective immediately.Reimburse 4D Trucking & Logistics, **** for the additional expenses incurred due to Ryder's failure to provide the agreed-upon equipment.Implement measures to ensure that such issues do not occur in the future.

      I bought a truck from Ryder, Vendor's License Number is ********. On **/**/2022. I purchased with a one yr warranty upto 100K mile's with PM service Vehicle No: ****** Vehicle: 2016 FRTL M2 106 ***************** the experience was very terrible especially with warranty and their certificated mechanics. They also falsely advertise about the conditions of their trucks before purchase. shortly after the purchase I started to experience an issue with an engine issue and codes that were not going away. Or would come right back after a few weeks of fixing. And no matter how many times I went to the mechanics. They kept telling me the warranty and certified mechanics could help as long as I had warranty but they didnt. Finally I took it to the Freightliner dealership in August 2022 and the total bill for everything that was wrong was quoted at 16K however warranty was only paying around 2K. While most of the components were covered under warranty. By this time my warranty was about to expire and I begged them to expend it so they can try and fix the truck as promised but no one responded to me. In one year within the warranty term, I had gone to the mechanics more than 8 times.My story is similar to many other customers online that have left bad reviews but their voices havent been heard because is this a big company that makes lots of money yet they scam their customers everyday. I need Ryder to issue me a full refund and they take their truck back. Ive also lost work contracts because of this. And spend a lot of money trying to find a solution. Their advertising is false. Their warranty is bad because they also state that secondary components that fail because of a primary issue will be covered however they dont even try to investigate if their is an underlying issue thats causing certain components to fail for continuous issues that are covered on the warranty. The company is truly taking advantage of people and this should end Please help me.

      On the date of October 10, 2023 we purchased a truck and put $15,000 down on a lease of $30,000. We got the truck off of Ryders lot. We saved up money in order to get our dot/ authority, but we cant get it because our truck is under someone elses authority. We are trying to get this solved with Ryder. We were told by Ryder corporation that it is ryders fault for selling a truck like that without looking into the trucks details. We are losing out on money around 800-1000 dollars daily. We cant work until this problem is figured out. Thank you .

      Hi this is *********************** I requested to buy a 26 ft box truck with lift gate in a automatic from Ryder I paid my down payment of ****** the truck was located in Washington I paid **** to have it shipped halfway to me then i paid **** to fly to pick it up and drive it home but when I get there to the location it was a manual transmission instead of automatic I called them to let ***************************************** my sales agent and ********************************* ****************************** my fiance company know they said they could swap out the truck but won't accommodate for the money I paid for the shipping of $**** or the money for my flight **** not even my rent car of *************************************************************************** I still have to pay for my first month payment on the wrong truck and Ryder asking me to put down **** more on another truck this is not how you treat customers nor do business I was asking for some type of compromise of reambustment for the shipping I paid **** and for the flights I paid **** for or even can they deliver the swap truck to me for there mistake and payment of my first month or even two months I left the truck I'm the customer out of over **** dollars plus they still have my down payment of ****** and I still dont have a truck yet please call me as soon as possible please I need this matter resolved and needs to be compensated and reambustment for Ryder fault Im trying to buying this truck for my business I would never treat a customer like this ever please call me at ************

      11/30/2023 I went to Bensalem Ryder location to test drive the truck 11/30/2023 I sent a email to ************************* about the things I notice wrong with the truck ( Driver side mirror needed to be tightened. The steering wheel was not straight, and the front end had a bounce in it).11/30/2023 *************************, cc ******************************* in this email informing them that I was purchasing this truck and it was issues that needed to be addressed. (******** emailed back stating that the truck will be added to the *** today).12/7/2023 The funds was funded to Ryder. 12/18/2023 I went to pick up the truck. (I let the truck run while me and my father put the equipment inside the back of the truck. The check engine light started flashing so I went inside the lady called the mechanic. The mechanic came out to the truck checked the light. He said the light wasnt on when he connected the computer to the truck he said it was just old codes in the computer when he clear the old code we thought everything was fine). When I started driving the truck I noticed everything I emailed ************************* about, wasnt addressed so I sent out another email to him about the issues with the truck. ************************* emailed me back instructing me to contact one 800 go Ryder.12/18/2023 I called **** go Ryder and put in a claim 12/22/2023 I received a email telling me me to drop the truck off on 12/26/2023 to Delaware valley truck service. (No one called to verify that date was ok for me. Due to the holiday)12/26/2023 That morning I called to reschedule the appointment because I was outta town I asked if I could bring the truck in on 1/2/2023. I was told someone would reach out to me. I called several times to get the truck serviced I was told the lady ******* was on vacation. Someone would contact me. I sent a email to ********************************* asking anyone to call me.1/5/2024 Someone contacted me and I told him Ive been trying to contact ******* because it was stated I couldnt drive the truck and how crazy this is because the purpose of me purchasing the truck was to make money . He told me to reach out to Delaware valley truck sale on Monday and set another appointment. He would reach back out to me on Monday (1/8/2024).1/8/2024 I called Delaware valley truck service to make sure it was ok to drop my truck off for service the guy over the phone was rude, I took the truck there anyway for me to get there and he started asking me questions about the truck. He started being rude again. I felt like he was talking down to me because I didnt have the information to bill Ryder with. I showed him the email that I received from Ryder he still was unable to help me overall it was a bad experience because him and his colleague was very rude so I just took the truck to Freightliner to get an idea what was going on with the truck .I have a bill for **** due to the fact that **** dropped the ball, and never serviced the truck. At this point, I feel like Ive been set up for failure. The reason for me purchasing the truck from Ryder in the first place was the sales ************************* made me feel comfortable about my purchase. I couldve just purchased a truck on the street and would have known what I was getting myself into. People purchase vehicles from the dealer because, normally the dealer service the vehicle before you purchase it and do an overall inspection. I purchased this truck and stated what I felt like was wrong with the truck, and it never was addressed. I havent had the truck a month yet and Im experiencing issues with the truck from the gate now yall want me to deal with the warranty company when its not a warranty issue its a Ryder issue.

      I carefully selected a truck that was supposed to be a Ryder Verified Manager's special. Which according to their website says it has been thoroughly inspected, No needed repairs for the vehicle to be road ready and meet DOT standards. I purchased the truck on 10/20/23 and flew out to ***********,** to pick it up on 10/25/23 in the afternoon. The same day I picked the truck up the problems began. The check engine light came on and I noticed that a hose going to the Def tank was also cut. I called Ryder and they had me take it to a shop to get it fixed. The shop only fixed half of the problems and told me that one part is on back order and that it want be available for 30 to 45 days. Upon taking the vehicle home waiting to be contacted to have the part placed on the truck, I took the truck to get an alignment at a shop and they told me an alignment could not be done because the tie rods are seized and want move. Also the Kingpins,Leaf springs bushings are worn on the steer axle. The oil is leaking from the crankcase filter,oil pan. The Air fittings on the tank is leaking air. Not to mention the dashboard is not working either. All of this was pre-existing problems before I bought the truck. After contacting Ryder about the problems no one has contacted me or returned any phone calls. All of this within the first month of purchasing a Truck. After I posted a ****** review, all of a sudden someone contacted me and had my truck a freightliner dealership on 12/6/2023. After diagnosing the vehicle the dealership did not get approval to work on the truck. So I made a phone call and the vehicle was taken to the Ryder Dallas ********************** Center on 12/12/23. Supposedly the vehicle was repaired on 1/2/23. A test drive was taken and the check engine light came on. The following day on 1/3/23 the repair was completed. Again the check engine light came on after a test drive. I would like a replacement truck or a refund. I don't really trust the truck with it's history.
