I had the pleasure of talking to one of your technicians by the name of *****. You will be my first choice for wildlife services because of this young man. He is a true animal lover and I feel safe that these wild animals will receive the best of care and treated humanely. I will always recommend your company to my acquaintances because of *****. I hope you have others on your staff that feel the same way about these beautiful creatures as ***** does. Sincerely,***********************

Re: lawn care, I paid for a plan to include 9 months of the year. Paid cash for a 10% discount. They come out as per the agreement and email me an invoice listing all they did per the weed types found and chemical applications applied. My only issue is they come out in the afternoon when it rains in the afternoon (summer) which IMO washes away the treatment but the tech says it washes it in.3 treatments in a row were washed out or washed in, so who knows. Would prefer an a.m. treatment plan but its a scheduled route. The jury is out per whether I will renew in July per the above. Lawn looks very good in the winter mos, but ** is a monster on summertime Floratam anyway. So far so good.***********

We are very pleased with the services that Nvirotect Pest Control Services provides for our residential home. We have them for interior, exterior and termite control. We wanted to give a shout out to the company and one employee in particular. We had the pleasure of meeting Joe - a technician that has been with the company but recently assigned to our route. His customer service was outstanding and his pest control knowledge was very impressive. Joe took the time to determine the issue at hand, spoke with us about his findings and his plan to remedy the situation. We are happy to say that we have not had an issue with the ants - since Joe's visit and the treatment of the exterior portion of our home. Thank you to Joe and the entire Nvirotect Pest Control Team for your exemplary pest control services.

Back in late July a gentlemen came out to my home to start the initial pest service for ants that I had both inside as well as climbing over my house outside. At the time I signed up for the year service in good faith that their service would actually work. They laid traps and sprayed inside and outside of my property. He said it would take about 2 weeks before I would see a change. Well by August I was still seeing the ants, they came back out to spray again. In late Oct they wanted to schedule for the next round of service but I refused since they never provided the service from the first two visits. I would not allow them back onto my property I instead requested they cancel my service since clearly it was NOT working. Fast forward to this month, since I would not pay the initial $150. for services NOT rendered, they have sent me a bill for $463 which I of course refused to pay so now they want to send me into collections! The NERVE! Everyone run away from these people!

This customer contracted with us for pest control service. She agreed to one-year of service. Her signed service agreement will be provided upon request. The signed service agreement allowed the customer to receive the first service for free which is a $150 value IF the entire year of service was provided. We completed that service on 7/27/21 at no charge and a free follow up for an ant issue on 8/24/21 at no charge as well. Both of those services were rendered. She also initialed and signed the initial service checklist, which outlines the service performed in detail. And acknowledges that the service was completed.
Technically, there should have been an upfront charge for an ant infestation that she did not disclose to us. We found her ant infestation on the initial service.
After these 2 rendered services, Customer refused to allow us on the property to perform service. Per the terms of conditions on the service agreement (attached here), Customer must allow Nvirotect full access to the premises and designated Service Area(s) at the scheduled times of service. We can provide numerous recorded conversations with Customer explaining that we needed to provide service in order to address the ant issue AND per the Service Agreement needed access to her home to provide the quarterly recurring service. Without allowing us to treat, the issue would of course not get better.
Customer states in her comments that the service was clearly NOT working, yet she denied access to us to provide said service. The General Terms and Conditions clearly state, that "if CUSTOMER believes that a failure of this nature has occurred, CUSTOMER shall provide NVIROTECT with a written notice demanding performance. NVIROTECT shall have five (5) days from the date it receives CUSTOMER's notice to provide the necessary service required under the Agreement before CUSTOMER may claim that NVIROTECT failed to perform or breached this Agreement." We received no notice and no opportunity to treat for the ants.
Customer clearly breached the Service Agreement by not allowing Nvirotect access to treat. General Terms and Conditions clearly state, "NVIROTECT shall be entitled to recover $150.00, the cost of the initial service, should CUSTOMER terminate service within the first year for reasons unrelated to a total failure of performance." Since Customer denied access to her property, Nvirotect was not allowed to perform service. Being denied access to perform does not constitute a failure to perform. We can supply ALL of our recorded conversation with Customer that explain the need for us to have access to her property in order to treat to address her ant issue and provide the quarterly recurring preventative maintenance to control ants going forward.
Customer has not made any payments to date. She entered into an agreement for a total of $435 (first service at $150 + 3 quarterly service at $95 each). She would have received the first service for free IF the service agreement was fulfilled. She defaulted on the service agreement, so the entire amount of the service agreement, $435, plus a $28 collections fee goes into collection.
Please know that we gave this Customer many opportunities to get out of the Service Agreement both on the phone with her and on her voicemail. In order to release the Service Agreement, Customer simply needed to pay the $150 value of the first service that was rendered. Customer refused. Furthermore, we informed Customer that her account would go to Collections for $463. None of this was a surprise to Customer.
Customer is evidently trying to get out of a Service Agreement that she signed AND not pay for services rendered.

Yes, I did initial and sign that the work was performed HOWEVER the service they performed DID NOT WORK I still had ants in my kitchen and family room which was the reason I called them in the first place. Just because they completed the task does not mean that it worked. Which is why I asked them to return to my home a second time (per the contract) which they did but unfortunately that service did not work either. Just out of curiosity, how many times am I to allow you onto my property to NOT perform the services? Then they would be writing that they came onto my property (3 or 4) times and I don't want to pay them.... I would have no issue paying for the quarterly service charges of $95 or even the initial service if their product actually worked. They clearly think that they show up and spray something around the house and if it doesn't work, they don't seem to care, they just want their money because you signed a contract! All they care about is the money, not that you are a happy customer or not! I have other monthly service contracts of lawn care and lawn weed control with other companies of which I pay without issue because what they say they are going to do; they do, so I have no issues paying FOR SERVICES RENDERED. In this case they want me to pay for services NOT RENDERED! I STILL HAVE ANTS! They talk about an ant infestation, I thought that is what they do is get rid of ants....my bad!

Nvirotect Pest Control Services, Inc. Response

With an upfront, undisclosed, ant infestation that was well established in the home, it will take several visits to eliminate them. The ants took a while to get that well established and are not going to disappear after 1 treatment. ALL of this was discussed with the Customer during the first service. Customer was advised to call back in 10 -14 days after the initial service is she was still seeing ants. We did not hear back from Customer for 1 month. We promptly provided a free service call for the ants and again advised to contact us in 10 - 14 days after the treatment if she was still seeing ants. SERVICES WERE RENDERED, products were applied. She did not contact us. We called the customer time and time again to schedule the quarterly recurring service per the Service Agreement she signed. Customer denied any further access to her property / home.
It was clearly explained to Customer that her ant issue was not going to go away without treatment. We are not ever going to get rid of ants without access to the home.
Furthermore, as stated before, Customer was offered to excuse the Service Agreement by paying the cost of the initial service ($150). Customer refused. Account flowed into collections.
Customer's comments are contradictory in and of themselves. It is apparent there is no reasoning with Customer. We are a reputable Pest Control company who has been in business for over 25 years. Elimination of a well-established ant infestation takes time and is truly a partnership between the homeowner and the pest control company. The owner needs to allow access to the home, report issues with ants timely, and trust the pest control service technician's expertise. It is unrealistic to eliminate an interior ant infestation without the customer's cooperation.

First of all, when I called originally they inquired what the problem was and I disclosed I had ants in my kitchen, family room and outside of my house. To think that you are going to come into someone's home without first knowing what the problem is just bad business and simply did not happen. So, to say that it was undisclosed is a LIE! Second, the gentlemen told me to give it several days before they would go away. Why then are you now saying it will take multiple trips to get rid of them. You are contradicting yourself. Either your service works or it doesn't! And from where I sit it doesn't. Your tech did NOT inform me it would take serval visits. I wonder if your competitors would agree that it takes several visits to get rid of ants. It was NOT disclosed that I had to call back in 10-14 days. I waited enough time to see if the product worked then I reached out to let them know I still had ants. They came back out to the house and resprayed outside and treated the inside. Guess what? Still had ants! So no, I'm not interested in you running in and out of my house to provide a service that does not work! I guess I am suppose to have them keep coming out once a quarter to provide SERVICES NOT WOKING, I STILL HAD ANTS and then want me to pay them! Wrong answer....I could careless how long you have been in business, all I know is your product does not work at my house. Why would I pay $150 or $1 for a service that does not work. I'm done with your company, zero out my account and move on!

      01/25/2022

We strongly disagree with the Customer's assessment. It is evident that she does not understand the pest control industry. Customer has a signed one-year agreement that she breached by refusing access to her property and not allowing us to address the issue (please see previous comments). We offered to excuse the signed service agreement with payment for the first service, but Customer declined. This account is in the hands of our collection agency.

      Customer Response

      01/27/2022

I strongly disagree with the company. As I mentioned above, I signed the contract in good faith that they as a pest control company would be getting rid of my ants. They were allowed onto my property twice to spray for ants but BOTH times they came out for service, when they left I still had ants weeks later which means they breached the contract by NOT taking care of my ants inside and outside of my home like the contract was written. I simply asked them to cancel the contract since their product CLEARLY does not work and I would get another company. Instead they would rather send me to collections for not doing what they said they were going to do!

Nvirontect began treating my lawn in August of this year . Wayne told me we could cancel service if we weren't satisfied. My lawn has become a dried up mess and I have pulled 10 garbage bags of dead grass. I called their office today to cancel their service, and they contend I have signed a 12 month agreement. Not an honest company!

Nvirotect Pest Control Services, Inc. Response

      12/07/2021

We received this customer's request for cancelation. There is a signed one-year service agreement attached to this account for the period of August 2021 - July 2022. There are 9 services remaining on that signed agreement as they elected to go with the Premium Package. In the Premium Package, many of the services for the year are done at the beginning of the service agreement, but the price is divided over 12 equal payments. They were never told that they could cancel the premium service at any time. If they chose the standard service, which is a month-to-month service, they could cancel at any time. The signed service agreement and terms of agreement from the back page side of the agreement are available for review.
As notated on the original quote, there was an issue with both Chinch Bugs and Mole Crickets with this lawn that was not in good condition. We have only provided service from August 20, 2010 - October 21, 2021. To date, there were only 3 paid services along with 4 free extra services as we were working to repair this lawn from the issues that existed BEFORE we started lawn care service on this property.
We are an honest and reputable company in business for more than 25 years. Unfortunately, we inherited this customer's lawn care with existing Mole Cricket and Chinch Bug damage. It was explained to the customer that this existing damage would take many months to repair to his satisfaction. We only performed 3 services over 68 days which is absolutely not enough time. This customer's expectations are unrealistic.
There are 9 services left on the signed service agreement. At this time, the customer can continue with service to fulfill the service agreement or pay $540 to buy out the service agreement.

I can't say enough about how wonderful a company Nvirotect is. We've been with them for 10 years and have been beyond happy. They provide some of the best service around. Eddie, on the home pest control side, is such a pleasure. His pest control knowledge is above anyone we've ever dealt with. He goes above and beyond to ensure we are happy and fixes any issue we have quickly. Can't say enough about how great he is!
