I called Transbuilt transmission in June of 2022 to check my 2015 Ram pro van out, they said to bring it in. I told them the Transmission has already been done and that we need the wires put back together because someone stole a part from it. Transbuilt has had my 2015 Ram promaster van for 10 months. They keep buying wrong parts and just keep swapping parts on it , and it is still broken down. I told them the transmission was rebuilt before I brought it in, they changed the transmission without my approval, they also changed all parts with out my approval, and had me to go purchase an expensive control unit ,,and it still is broken down, so today (Saturday (May 6,2023 ) he (****) calls and says the place where they got the transmission is giving them back the total refund because the transmission is bad, and they will keep my deposit funds and I can come and pick up the broken down vehicle. he said they will keep the money for a clutch that they bought for the still not working transmission. they could have told me 9 months ago, that they do not know what is wrong with it, and cannot fix it?? they broke my hood cable and cut a big opening in my hood. They tried to buy parts to fix a broken used transmission, and want me to pay for it??The owner ****** told me I needed A expensive part and the van will work. I asked him 3 times while at the part store before I purchased it. "ARE YOU 100 PERCENT SURE THIS PART WILL WORK BEFORE I BUY IT. It is very expensive, are you sure...he said he was 100 percent sure this is what i needed. and the van is still broken ,the expensive part did not work, so then they had it towed to a major ram service dealer(************************************) , to find out what is really wrong, they took it out the shop the next day because the dealer wanted too much money to check it out. . I went to the ram dealership myself( Address: ******************************************************* You visited 2 weeks ago) to see what is wrong, the technician said he never looked at it, because they came back to pick it up quickly and today they asked me if i wanted them to look for another transmission and parts. I said no, it's been almost 1 year, and you don't know what is wrong with it,.they made me pay for transmission that does not work . and ordered numerous wrong parts for it. I went to pick up my old transmission 2 months ago to have it checked out, and the mechanic says there is nothing wrong with it?? I have 2 witnesses who went their with me numerous times to see what is going on and why it is taking so long, they saw with me, that my van just sat there for months. **** says all the parts I bought was not needed it is the transmission?? they don't know?? They never gave me any invoices, paperwork, nothing.
