No stone left unturned, no corners cut! We have been using Adirondack Services for years and are always left feeling impressed. From professionalism to experience and fast, reliable service, Adirondack really has checked all our boxes. We have had a whole new system installed in our upstairs floor by them a couple of years ago. They are clean, quick, took the time to make sure we understood our new thermostat and explained the process. We had our regular tune up this past Wednesday and Allison (in the office) was able to get the tech out very soon for us. We began using them initially because several people kept recommending them after years of satisfaction. They were right!. Now, we recommend Adirondack Services to all our friends and family.

Arrived on time to replace air ducts, attended to work until completion. I gotta comment about Carlos, a master at his craft. Not only was it clear he could do ductwork, but I watched him craft a "box" out of a sheet of board - by hand and from scratch. He made it to replace a broken 1978 era box that fell apart during demolition - not a size they had. Impressive. The group knew how to work together. 18 ducts, done in a 10 hour day. Many thanks!

In December of 2019 I had a brand new Trane system installed by Adirondack Services. They advised me to have a service check before the year was up in November of 2020. So I complied. They assured me everything was fine. On my next six month service check in May of 2021, the service tech said he needed to add Freon, charged me $155 (Invoice XXXXX) and told me not to worry about it because these things happen. After speaking with an expert, he informed me that there must be a problem because Freon should not be added without finding out where the leak is. Then the system malfunctioned and I was told the 17 mo. old system had a bad coil and they fixed it for $789 (Invoice XXXXX). Then I started reading about these coils and found out there had been a class action lawsuit against Trane regarding these defective coils. Adirondack knew about this and said the part was under warranty but they had to charge me $789 for labor. I then started dealing directly with Trane and they reimbursed me $295. Now I'm due for my next six month service check and I pointed out to Adirondack Services over the phone that my air conditioner is not level and reminded them that they installed it and will they level it for me at no charge since they did not pack it down properly! They CANNOT do it complimentary without showing up and charging me for the visit and then determining whether or not it's a simple level or a root problem. I asked for a ballpark $ amount if it is a root problem and they are not able to provide me with that. I do NOT recommend this Company.

To all existing and to all future customers: **** ********* has attempted to extort Adirondack Services on two occasions. Her husband stepped in on the first occasion and apologized and explained that **** was of unstable mind. This second occasion she again threatened to write bad reviews if we did not provide her with what appears to be possibly several hundred dollars in free service that *** involve pulling out roots out of the ground beneath her Condenser. We offered her a free quote and assessment of the cause of the problem and even offered to level the condenser if it turned out it was not the roots from near by trees or erosion from water coming off her roof line, as long as we could ***** it during her next maintenance.

I don't even have a husband! This is an outright lie and is comical!!

I should sue Adirondack Services for slander.

After reading Adirondack Service's response, I can now fully understand what I was dealing with. Shame on them for lying. Please stay away from this Company.
