I will give them some credit because their ability to actually pack and move stuff efficiently is as good as it gets. But beware they may misquote your "estimate" and pull the old bait and switch. I cannot think of a reason why a company who will proudly tell you they've been in business 42 years cannot figure out accurately what the cost of a full-service move is, except it be an underhanded, intentional thing to trap people. They were told what we wanted, they came prepared with enough supplies to move us (just a few boxes short, no biggie there) then proceeded to tell me they "misunderstood" the need and it was going to take double the time. Not exaggerating. And customer service had the most professional nonchalant reaction I'd ever seen when I called to find out how the mixup happened. Then tried to offer a sliver of a discount. Barely acknowledged the gross error on their end. Told me how expensive these things are, how they have to pay their crew, how much additional work 3-story homes are, etc. Like they are doing me a huge favor. Shame on me for not realizing that original quote was too good to be true, even though I confirmed AGAIN and AGAIN every single solitary detail for this FULL SERVICE move. So if you have a lot of cash to spare, they will probably do good for you, but honesty is still a virtue.

When we got to your house, we realized that the amount of packing to be done calculated for your belongings, based on the information provided by you, was not enough and we made you aware of it as it was going to be impossible for us to finish that same day. We also honored the price for the second day and even offered you a discount to try to help! We have been in business for over 45 years, serving our customers with the utmost respect! Showing up on moving day and drastically changing the cost is exactly the trouble that no one wants. On moving day, stress is high and time is limited, and you as the movers are being depended upon, and you probably know it. And actually, now that our moving is done (no thanks to you) all of the supplies you came with were enough, more than enough to pack out our place! We had leftover boxes, let alone other things. So Someone knew we had asked for a full service move, and someone dropped the ball big time. You should have ate much more of the cost than you did, for YOUR mistake, instead of trying to upsell me at a "discount".
Sad thing is, had you given me an accurate quote when I made the booking TWO months ago, you'd have probably still got the job because your price was pretty reasonable. Being underhanded and dishonest for business and money is never worth it.
