Thank you for bringing this to our attention: We appreciate the opportunity to address any concerns: I am showing you purchased the car with us on 12/26/2023. On 1/9/2024 you8 contacted our warranty department over some concerns: We approved to repair the lower control ars and waived your deductible. I am not seeing that you contact our warranty department again. You did not inform us of any out of pocket expense on repairs until you asked us to pick up the car in March of 2025.Initial Complaint

Financed a used car from the OK cars on *********** in ***** on Dec 12 2024. We had an appt to see like 3 cars. When we arrived we were told this car was ONLY car in budget and available. We accepted. Reported an electrical issue less than a week later. Car will lose power while driving. Touch screen flashing ac cutting on and off all the lights on the dash flashing on and off and the cars power steering goes out. While driving. It wont start without a jump. Dealer told us car was under warranty. Once the cars drives away from lot it has "nothing to do with ok carz anymore" " it's between us, the **************** and the warranty company" "they just sell the cars" We were handed a card with the warranty number. Was sent to Speedway Auto by them. We were told we had to pay the diagnostic fee of 96$ We paid that fee and they diagnosed it as a "faulty wire" where the charger port is. Was told it would cost another 98$. The warranty company said they dont cover this issue. So we payed that as well They said they fixed it. The next day the cars electrical system does the same thing and shuts down again. Payed for nothing. Guy refused to reimburse us. Says he'll take another look but we would have to pay out of pocket AGAIN. Called warranty company to ask for a different place to go that is more accredited. They say Speedway again. They say its the starter. We pay for a starter and starter replacement. 165$. The same night the car has the SAME EXACT ISSUE and cuts off and refuses to start without a jump. We go buy a battery 35$ so we can jump the car when it cuts off. We finally get sent to ******** by the warranty company. ******** puts the car on their diagnostic rack and says that the issue is the alternator all along. And of course, the **************** says they don't cover this nor the diagnostic check. 798.35$ this should be criminal what they are doing to **. They intentionally financed us a defective car.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: they told us the car would be fixed no matter what the issue or price. Because it was not our fault. They apologized. They said they would do whatever to rectify. They sent us back to ********. Speedway said the alternater. fixed that. But my car still having issues. Car won't crank 2 days after that repair was done. **************** well aware. Have kept constant communication with them. So as a last resort. They tow my car to the other side of town. 12miles away to the nearest ******* dealer on 3/27 at 5pm. Per THEIR recommendation. They made us wait until 430pm 3/28 to approve work and labor. Waits until the car is fixed and then say I have to pay out of pocket to retrieve my car. They will Only cover a portion of the labor. After telling me I did not have to pay for ANY work done on this car out of pocket until the problems are fixed. But my car is ALREADY there and been worked on. Have been coresponding with them since 9am. ***** said we had to pay. ***** gave us the common courtesy to say they changed their promises to rectify with no cost to us. And let ME decide what to do. They did it FIRST. Wasn't until we called dealership about eta time were we told we had to pay out of pocket. BLATANTLY going against EVERYTHING we initially agreed too. . I have no way to pay this. My wife is missing chemo treatments that were scheduled for 5pm today and I have to miss work. AGAIN.Then at 440pm today they say that they have to have someone "get back with us" Why would you do this to us and change our agreed upon solution at the last minute??
This is so unfair and messes up. We DID NOT DO ANYTHING WRONG. Why are we being punished for being sold a defective car??
Sincerely,
******* ********Initial Complaint

I purchased my vehicle in February 10 of 2023, I was told about the conquest program with ok cars and that if I paid on time in the 12months of me having the car I can trade it in for a newer vehicle or an arrangement can be made where I can upgrade my car, I made the appointment with Lakeland and the manager stated that I only had my car for only 8 months, so I texted their number that was used to communicate with the manager of the dealership in ******** yesterday after that failed appointment, had I investigated to make sure it wasnt error on my part about how long I had my vehicle for, I received a response from an employee there that stated that the manager saw the car was with me for only 8 months but I have the paper trail that states otherwise, I honestly believe that if you offer something to a client you should stand behind that 100 percent while I also received a message before I even made the appointment about my eligibility to upgrade my car by the same manager named ******* who then after me driving almost two hours to the location proceeds to tell me Ive only had the car 8months, I have it all in the messages and I can provide my car details of how long Ive been making payments , my agreement of my purchase of the vehicle I even have pictures with the date on it in front of the lot that I sent to family members when I first purchased the vehicle. Vehicle purchase with (non-optional) two year/24000 mile warranty on 12/15/23. I am well within the warranty period and mileage (***** miles driven since purchase). Within a week of purchasing the vehicle, the upper radiator hose blew off the radiator. I had a list of issues with the car and was told by the manager of OKCarz in ***** to not worry that the warranty would cover ALL of it.They (OKCarz) authorized replacement of the waterpump. However, the waterpump that was installed was a used, Chinese knockoff that was graded C (barely functional) by whichever junkyard it came from. This waterpump lasted six months before I had to replace it again out of my own pocket. I did this to ensure that quality, new OEM parts were being used. Now, the radiator has gone bad. ******** in ******* found a leak in the radiator in the exact place where the upper radiator hose connects and the issue began. The warranty company, which is owned by the same entity as the dealership, has denied the claim by saying that the radiator is NOT part of the engine. Yet, the water pump that damaged it is. Bu the time I reach the end of the loan, this vehicle will have cost me $31000. I asked for the number of their legal department and was told "This conversation is over" and hung up on without another word. The manager at ******** can attest to this as it was said during a call to get the work authorized. All I want is for them to have the smallest hint of integrity and fix the issue. Otherwise, this will become a legal matter. I don't care that this is *******, which has very little in the way of consumer protections. I was rushed through the paperwork to purchase the vehicle with ample time to read through it, no doubt a sales tactic as I witnessed it happening every time I had to go back. I have been transferred to a full voicemail box, hushed and hung up on. My patience is wearing incredibly thin at this point.Business Response

Mr. ******** purchased a 2011 Dodge Charger on December *******, the vehicle came with a 2- year or 24K mile powertrain warranty (see attached) at no additional cost. We have listed each claim made from the date of purchase below as well as the results of those claims.
January 8, 2024, Mr. ******** filed a warranty claim requesting the radio speakers be replaced. This was declined as it is not covered under the warranty agreement.
January 29, 2024, Mr. ******** filed a claim stating, "vehicle overheating, he was directed to ***************************** who determined the water pump failed. The claim was approved, and an exception was made to cover the towing (non-covered) and we waive the $200 deductible. February 24, 2025, Mr. ******** filed a claim stating, vehicle leaking coolant, he was directed to ******** who determine there was physical damage to both the radiator and condenser. Unfortunately, neither radiator nor condenser are covered under the warranty agreement.

Complaint: 22994583
I am rejecting this response because:This simply a cause and effect issue.
The water pump ceased to work, which overpressurized the entire cooling system to the point that it physically pushed the upper radiator hose off of the radiator.
IT'S ALL ONE SYSTEM.
This a closed loop in the engine. Coolant is pushed by the water pump to the lower radiator hose/inlet, air cools the liquid that moves out through the upper radiator hose/outlet, to the thermostat and back into the waterpump.
The water pump failed causing damage further along in the system.
Whether it was the original water pump or the used, grade C water pump that was installed, it's the water pump that caused this.
The only one involved in this that believes anything else is you. The independent mechanic in *****, the Dodge mechanic that I paid out of my pocket and the mechanics from ******** this week are all bewildered as to how, being of assumed sane mind, you can't see the relationship and accept ultimate responsibility.
The funny thing about facts is that they are true whether you agree with them or not.
Sincerely,
***** ********Customer Answer

Yeah. Looks brand new to me ????. It also doesn't say "Made in *****" on the other side and have the tell tale wax marker noting that It was a grade C used part. They need to quit lying through their teeth. They take your money and refuse to spend any to correct any problems. Of you challenge them, they hang up on you. It's called the policy of "deny everything" and is used by warranty companies in ****. Unfortunately, there's more oversight on healthcare. So, the scumbags can continue to do this people. Welcome to *******. I'll see you in court.

Financed 2017 Dodge Journey under the impression car was inspected before putting the car was put on the lot as well as on their website. 1/25I was told after my engine went out within the first year via phone with a supervisor that they dont inspect the cars they just buy they and sell them. Im so appalled and out of a vehicle, money and credit score affected on false advertising and lemon carz! 10/24 car shut off while driving no dash indicator lights. Took to******* who company is partnered with for warranty claims. Took them a few days of inspecting to say it was the converter and that it wasnt covered. When the car was supposed to be ready for pickup, got a call they ran into another issue and the exhaust manifold needed to be replaced now. I ask them why wasnt this known prior ? Told me proof is in documents at signing, looked through them, and it wasnt) ( read my signed contract and both parts shouldve been covered by warranty but werent) no explanation Weeks later after getting it out the shop car stops while driving again with my children with smoke and fluids released. Claim denied due to overheating when I just got a full oil change and fluids with a diagnostic. Varied from the final report of warranty company. Literally keep getting the runaroundBusiness Response

THANK YOU FOR BRINGING THIS TO OUR ATTENTION: WE APPRECIATE THE OPPORTUNITY TO ADDRESS ANY CONCERNS. MS. ***** PURCHASED HER CAR ON 1/16/2024. YOU CONTACT US ON 10/11/2024 IN REFERENCE TO SOME CONCERNS. YOU WENT TO THE SHOP ON 10/17/2024 THEIR FINDINGS AT THAT TIME WERE TO REPLACE YOUR CATALYTIC CONVERTER. THIS WAS NOT COVERED UNDER YOUR WARRANTY HOWEVER WE DID WORK OUT A REPAIR TRACKER WITH YOU TO HELP WITH THE COST. YOUR REPAIR TRACKER IS CURRENTLY IN DEFAULT FOR NON- PAYMENT. ON 12/24 YOU TOOK YOUR CAR BACK TO THE SHOP WHICH STATED THAT YOU DID NOT HAVE COOLANT IN THE CAR AND IT OVER HEATED. (PLEASE SEE ATTACHED DOCUMENTS). THIS WAS NOT COVERED DUE TO NEGLECT. I am rejecting this response because:
Car was serviced at ***** and you all have that report. It wasnt negligence on my end. Car was serviced with receipts. However you all never answered my questions or provided me with the documents of when it was serviced by Okcarz because the engine going out didnt just start. Engine was going out when it was taken to ******** and it took multiple days to find out what was wrong because there was no check engine light on then. I can provide all documents and recorded calls requesting this information that I was told they didnt have it. Which is appalling because Ok Carz stated they fully inspect the vehicles and I have proof they didnt and have neglected to give me the information. I was given a lemon car. Listen to the numerous call since October and even one back in March/April 2024. My finance company has worked hand and hand with me trying to get the information and make sense of everything and get vital documentation

OKCarz wrongfully reported me to the credit bureau, Experian, over unpaid balance on my totaled vehicle. They only made one attempt to notify me. I spoke with the manager **** in mid-february, where she admitted they were wrong because a claims agent never contacted me in December after I surrendered the car. I spoke with a claims agent on 12/14 to have my car picked up. The agent notified the car was a total loss and she gave me the information for the company who would pick up my car. She advised me I would be receiving a call about the insurance monetary payout decision. I never got the call.
I spoke with **** a manager from OKCarz and she acknowledged that a step was missed on their part in contacting me. They never verified my mailing address, nor did I receive a phone call about my remaining balance. She said she would speak with the credit department and see what can be done. She nor the apartment returned my call.
I just spoke with a representative today 07/08/24 and she told me I could not speak with **** again. She then said that the phone call on 12/14 is when the insurance payout decision was told to me. I asked her for clarification of when the insurance made their decision and she said it was 12/20. I could not have been notified about a balance on 12/14 if the insurance did not make their decision till 12/20/23. I also stated I never received a text for my mailing address nor verified via phone. She stated they only verify that through text. I said okay and I never got a text.
I am not satisfied with these responses because **** prior to me filing this claim acknowledged there was an error in their SOP when handling my case. The credit department has done nothing to help or rectify their wrong doings.Customer Answer

I am sorry you feel that way. I do see that back in January we covered an intake manifold gasket and a throttle under warranty and no cost to you. In May you reached out about your current concerns. We also agreed to waive the deductible since you said you had to rent a car. With your rental receipts we also offered a 2-payment deferment on the account. We stressed the urgency to you that you still needed to make a payment. When the shop called to inform us that your car was ready and not picked up, we called you again about resolving the issue with a payment. I purchased a vehicle just months ago from okcarz. As a single mom of three special needs children I needed reliable to get to and from special schools and doctors. Usually I pay cash for cars but hadn't had much luck with finding something reliable. I had figured, do finance because someone would have mechanically looked over the vehicle and if there were issues they would have been resolved before, or the company would not have bought it. I was wrong. Two days after buying the vehicle I noticed it didn't seem to be right, it was like it wasn't going into gears, it's an automatic. It sounded like it was going to shut down at a light, the sales lady told me "the newer cars sound like they shut off at lights but dont" it's a 2013 that does NOT have that feature. Minor things like sunroof and back up camera don't work. Long story short, I kept getting sent back and forth from warentee to finance when in reality, even those two departments felt bad because it's over $8,000 in things wrong not counting needing a new motor and transmission. So weeks without a vehicle, $8,000 out of pocket is what I would be up against if I decide to continue. After a few days of issues I opened the hood, NO COOLANT AT ALL. I kept adding some so the mechanics said someone there WOULD HAVE KNOWN because they would have test drove it and saw the coolant was running out. Okcarz made sure to remind me I signed "as is" paper, kind of like a "haha you are stuck with this POS" they are selling vehicles that it is more likely than not, according to professionals, they knew of the issue prior but nobody seems to care. So now I'll be stuck in the heat holding onto three disabled children walking MILES and HOURS due to dishonest people. If the issues had happened even 3-4 months down the road I would have understood they would have not known, but it happened right away, they should own their mustake, we are all human people make mistakes and overlook things. Disgusting place. Buyer beware!Business Response
