I went into the showroom after speaking with Steve in sales and Steve in financing and telling them I was on my way to them to see bike before work today -&and I would be there soon . I was 95% sure I was going to purchase a bike from them . Upon entering the showroom there were 3 people near the front door and no one even greeted me . So I went go back area where bike was I was interested in . I walked by both sales offices as well . Yet still no help / I walked back to bike . Looked over bike - looked decent / no issues found - I then sat on the bike to check fit. All was good and then I heard may name brought up between whom ever was in the back offices / not sure who was back there but I did overhear there whole conversation and I started hearing them laughing at my past history with finances . Now it was not behind closed doors they were yelling from office to office about my past credit history and laughing amongst them selves about my hard ships that were well over 10 yrs ago .I’m pretty sure there is a confidentiality statement that the finance officer is supposed to follow and not make it a mockery and a out loud laughing matter . I quietly got off the bike and as I was walking out someone finally asked me if I wanted any help as he was laughing leaving the back offices - I have never been in a more disrespectful and degrading situation in my life . At that point I told the gentleman to tell them my name and I will pass on the purchase . We all sometimes fall on hard times . Hopefully it doesent last for ever . I am very fortunate that I am successful today and can easily Alford such luxuries . It is turkey there loss that there lack of professionalism and lack of confidentiality in my past lost them a 17 ,000 dollar sale . I should have taken the hint when the sales guy instantly went in a rant badmouthing on Harley Davidson where he used to work . I definitely would not recommend this bike shop for anyone .
