We signed the contract to purchase a champion home in July of 2021, closed in February of 2022 - was finally delivered in May -Champion Homes took longer than quoted for manufacturing, in February we were quoted 16 weeks. After several complaints we were shown the part in our contract that states even acts of God can prevent them from delivering the home. Since delivering the home in May it has been one lie after another. We have been paying a mortgage and electric bill yet we are still homeless. Immediately upon walking into the unit we discovered numerous defects and shabby workmanship, not to mention all the defects on the exterior - Uneven texture throughout the entire home. huge holes around the light switches, trowel marks, clumps, divots, uneven walls and ceilings- - Water damage to the guest bedroom- Electrical outlets that do not work, light that does not work, missing GFI sockets - toilets were loose and rocking- - every towel & toilet paper fixture installed unevenly - Sconces in master bathroom were supposed to be installed centered over the basins and they are not - paid for the upgraded cabinetry throughout the house to be slow close- they either dont close, are uneven or slam shut - paid for upgraded "trays" in living room and bedrooms only to have cracks, unpainted - canister lighting is not flush with ceilings and there are gaps, some don't work - cracks everywhere in the house, corners, ceilings, windows, crack in ceiling that goes from kitchen into living room - baseboards were never painted - they simply have the primer on them- this is throughout the house everywhere including window casings with primer - tile work in the kitchen grout is done poorly and has bubbles and missing grout -creaky floor boards - We even had a new construction inspector come out and point out where the roof is not attached properly. - termite damage on the porch and stepsInitial Complaint

I purchased a home in September of 2020 from factory Expo in Lake City. They contracted with Champion homes manufacturer to supply the house. Once it was delivered, the factory sent out a punch list template to capture any deficiencies or defects. These were all identified within a month after delivery. Several of the items have been corrected. Some have not. Communication with the factory has diminished and gone away. I have been very patient with them but they are not following through with their commitment. There are three significant issues. 1. All of the carpet supplied was nonstandard and has defects. Their service representative confirmed this and has shared their feedback with the factory. It needs to be replaced. 2. We paid extra for an upgrade from a bath to a shower. The shower is a complete unit and was not installed square and plumb. This prevents the doors from closing properly and needs to be corrected. The guest bath toilet will not flush. There is an obstruction in the toilet or system that has never been resolved. This may have been caused by the large amount of debris found in the home when it was delivered.Initial Complaint

We purchased a manufactured home from Champion homes. Our vinyl plank flooring was covered with white paint specks, there is grooves and gouges in the seams where walls meet (mudding job is horrible), there is a hole in wall where bracket for sliding barn door meets, there's Crack in sink, front screen door has separation of frame where water comes thru, the flooring has lumps and under carpet has lumps Lome they never swept before laying carpet and flooring, the carpet was never properly tacked and no padding put under marriage joint from bedroom to closet. We moved into home in March they came and completed some of the punch list and have never returned despite. Multiple emails. The quality of the home is poor. We will never recommend them to anyone. We are so discouraged as we reviewed searched and looked at models for 2 years before purchasing thus one as Champion HAD a decent reputation but not after this home. There's not even wood on top of the kitchen cabinets so all wires are exposed and you can't use for placing decorative things. Everyday as we see the seams on walls and unfilled and unpainted nail holes we are reminded of the poor workmanship. We paid top dollar for home and extra for flooring and other things. We want Champion to make this right. We waited a year and half for home after being told it would only be 4 months that's why we went manufactured VS stick built. We moved into our home December 2021. We have several things that need to be fixed. Such as doors not closing (including back door), shower head not working, tub’s plumbing not hooked up. But the big problem is the shower is leaking and has been the entire time we have lived here. I noticed black mold growing on the wall. I began calling February 28, 2022. I talk to ******** the first time I called. She told me there had been a death and she couldn’t send anyone until the next week. That’s the last time I have spoken with anyone. I have left countless messages and the dealer gave me a different number for *****. She doesn’t answer or return calls either. Meanwhile we have mold in our master bathroom which is making us sick. I guess at this point we need to seek legal counsel.Business response

We became aware yesterday that this home had a plumbing leak. We under the impression that the set-up crew or retailer had repaired the plumbing leak issue already. ***** spoke with the homeowner earlier today. We had an open order for mainly cosmetic issues on our schedule. We are now going to push this order ahead of others now that we are aware that nobody had resolved the plumbing leak issue. We are perplexed by her comments on leaving countless messages and not getting return phone calls from either ******** or *****. Both of them are on the phone and email, all day, every day with homeowners, retailers, service techs, etc. Any voicemails are returned the same day the come in here.
