We contracted with the company in 2017 to absolve our association with a Virginia Beach timeshare. Years later, it appears that the job was never done as the timeshare continues to show on our credit report and we get periodic letters. We have tried to contact the company to no avail. I have emailed, faxed, and left several messages with no response, and no phone line that anyone ever answers. I just want them to confirm and provide proof that the title has been transferred and documented and confirmed with the timeshare company. Attached is a copy of the guarantee they provided after taking our money.

We are filing a complaint that the ************** Company, LLC in Branson did not uphold their agreement with us to cancel our timeshare with******* Resort (************** Resort) in Las Vegas. We paid them $2,500 to cancel the timeshare in 365 days or they would fully refund our money. It has been over 4 ½ years and still there has not been any progress made to get a resolution. On 8/17/2017 we hired ************** Company, LLC in Branson to get our ****** Resort timeshare cancelled and we paid them $2,500. They promised us in a contract that the timeshare would be cancelled in 365 days or our $2, 500 would be refunded in 10 days. They are now out of business. First they contracted with Best Defense Law Team in Florida to work on getting our ****** Timeshare cancelled. After more than a year and no progress had been made they contracted with Helping Timeshare Owners in Florida on about 1/11/2019 to get the timeshare cancelled. The Helping Timeshare Owners in Florida received at least half of the $2500 or more to get our ****** Resort timeshare cancelled. It has been about 3 years now that they have been working on this and no real progress has been made. We asked for a return of our money, but Alex C******* (case manger with Helping Timeshare Owners in Florida) said to work with the ************** Company, LLC to get a refund because that is the company we signed up with. Since the ************** Company is out of business we want a refund of the money the ************** Company in Branson sent on our behalf to Helping Timeshare Owners in Florida to work on deeding the timeshare back to ****** Resort in Las Vegas. We have sent all the paperwork requested by Helping Timeshare Owners and have let them know several times that no progress had been made on getting the timeshare cancelled for us. No action except writing letters to ********** LLC in Las Vegas has been done and they were ignored. We can mail you a copy of original contract.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/04/27) */ Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to reply to this complaint. Because we did not collect any funds directly from this client, we would be unable to offer them a refund of any kind. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/04/29) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) We did not directly send Helping Timeshare Owners, Inc. any money to work on cancelling our ****** Resort timeshare, but the ************** Company, LLC in Branson did send them at least half of the $2,500 we paid to ************** Company, LLC in Branson to work on getting our ****** Resort timeshare cancelled. We never saw the contract between the ************** Company, LLC in Branson and Helping Timeshare Owners, Inc. in Florida. I am sure the ************** Company, LLC in Branson contracted with Helping Timeshare Owners, Inc. to refund the money they paid them if they did not get our timeshare cancelled for us. Our contract with ************** Company, LLC in Branson stated that if they didn't get the timeshare cancelled within 365 days then we would receive a full refund of the $2,500 within 10 days. Since no progress has been made by Helping Timeshare Owners, Inc. in Florida in getting our timeshare cancelled we should receive all the money The ************** Company, LLC in Branson sent to them to work on it. Just because the ************** Company, LLC in Branson is now out of business, that doesn't dismiss their responsibility to refund our money to us. Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/05/03) */ Again, we did not receive any funds directly from his client, therefore we are unable to assist her with her requests. Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2022/05/04) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The Helping Timeshare Owners, Inc. in Florida did receive money from ************** Company, LLC in Branson on our behalf so they should refund that money to us. The money Helping Timeshare Owners, Inc. were paid came indirectly from us. Business Response /* (4000, 13, 2022/05/13) */ Again, this client will need to contact the company she paid in order to discuss a refund. We cannot refund anyone that we did not collect payment from.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/08/10) */ We were able to communicate with this clients daughter who will be handling everything moving forward. We have sent her the next dispute and will be resuming their case. We would encourage her to contact our office directly should they have any other questions or concerns. Consumer Response /* (2000, 7, 2021/08/11) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) Happy to talk to someone from this company and finish what my Mother started. Hate it took 4 years to get the ball rolling again. Can't wait to get her out of this timeshare.

I have a timeshare property in Florida (Parkway village). My maintenance fee was due last year and I was/have been unable to pay due to reduced income due COVID-19. I explained that. Not only that but the property was not available due to the pandemic. Now they have reported me to the credit bureau. I would like to know what can be done about this.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/05/17) */ We believe there might be a mix up here as we are not a timeshare resort, and we do not have a client by this name. As such, we are kindly asking the BBB to remove this complaint from our profile.

I paid this company $1600 back in 2018 with a guarantee to release me from my timeshare I have not been released nor have I been refunded my $1600 once I requested my $1600 refund and they stop returning calls and emails all l get now are automatic responses due to the pandemic. Also when I mentioned that my credit is ruined they answer by saying to pay another $150 for credit repair why would I pay $150 for credit repair when I gave them $1600 and the only thing they did was comprise a letter for the company which I had to send the company they never explained that was the process or I would not have done business with them furthermore it was their advice to stop paying the timeshare in order to get results. the company is still reporting on my credit report and I am still not released from the timeshare as of to date and still have not received my guaranteed refund

      06/01/2021

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/05/03) */ Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to reply to this complaint. Ms. *********'s timeshare contract with Wyndham has been terminated, pursuant to the Notification of Proposal to Accept Collateral in Satisfaction of Debt document that she previously received from them. In regards to her making numerous attempts to call our office, we have received no voicemails from Ms. ********* since March of 2020. If the timeshare resort is affecting Ms. *********s credit, we would recommend that she sign up with the third party credit repair company that we work with. As this service does come from a third party, there is a fee of $150 since it is only her credit being affected. We would encourage Ms. ********* to contact our office directly should she have any further questions or concerns.
