This has been going on since March 18, 2021. I have paid $500 for a circuit board to FLorida Villa. It took Months to get a new board inititally and then when they sent it, I had my technician install it and it didnt work. It has now taken over a year to try and get a new one with one excuse after the other. The technician was out of the country , then he was in **************, then he was busy--it is always something. I reached out to ******* with Florida Villa Services and finally asked for a refund on Sept 20, 2022 and was told the technician wont give a refund --however, as I pointed out to the owner **************** didnt pay the technician, I paid Florida Villa Services. This is ridiculous that it has taken this long. I am asking for my refund of $500 for services/ repair that was never satisfied or fulfilled in **************************************** getting A replacement board since the technician cant be dependable.Business response

Thank you for opportunity to share our side of the situation. First off Florida Villa Services is a Dealer/Distributor of these games. We do not manufacture them nor carry the warranty. We sent her board into the Dealer the first time and there was 1 chip defective. It took months to get in as the ICs from ***** are horribly delayed. This information was conveyed to the customer. Once repaired the board was returned to the customer. Once again the customer stated it failed. She returned it and we sent it to the Dealer. The Dealer tested it for weeks and found no issues. We returned it to the customer again and she said it failed. Once again it was returned to the Dealer and no problem was found. To help the situation we requested that an upgraded board be returned free of charge and the Dealer agreed. But the Customer declined accepting the ****************** from the Dealer. The issue with these Boards is at the customers end with her install technician. Florida Villa Services is at the mercy of the Dealers. After all this we did state that the vendor was not willing to refund her monies as the boards all worked when they were returned. We exhausted all avenues and provided her with working boards.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: This issue has been going on for almost 2 years ! Furthermore, it does not matter whether FVS is the dealer/ manufacturer / or sales company. I paid the money to them not to the manufacturer. I understand about the parts coming from ***** and that accounts for maybe 3 months out of the almost 2 years. Every time I email and ask , the "technician" is on vacation, out of touch, and as the owner ******* has said multiple times--She can't get in touch with him and is unresponsive to her as well. I'm sorry that FVS has chosen to do business with vendors that are not reliable but that should not fall on me as the consumer. AFter 2 boards that did not work--maybe he sent the wrong one for my machine--??, I decided to go another route and request money back as my machine has been out of service for 2 years and I have had multiple complaints from guest staying at our home because I advertised an arcade machine and didnt have one. I can get signed affidavit's from my technician that I paid to test the boards with the arcade machine to no avail -- along with supplying the emails where *******/FVS stated that her repairman / technician was unresponsive to her and on vacation and she couldnt get him to respond to repair my board. FVS owes my $500 for the money I paid them and never received a working board ...and 2 years of not being able to use the machine

In reply again, it was longer than 3 months out of the 2 years to get parts. They come from ***** and he could not get them for many months so this was most of the delay.
Secondly, he sent the correct boards as when they came back there were in working order. Her technicians are not trained in his games and may not have connected them correctly. He was willing to do a call with her technicians and send an upgraded board but she declined. We have done everything we can to help her. Yes, it took some time and our manufacturer was not always responsive but when he did come back, it wasn't his issue as the boards were always working.This would be the same scenario if you had a GM Vehicle you were getting worked on at ******************. It is not ****************** that has to issue the repairs/warranty it is GM. And if GM issues you a new vehicle and you dont want to accept that new vehicle, there is nothing that ****************** can do. In this case, the Manufacturer decided to give her a ********* and is not refunding the money. She can still accept the new board.
