ATP flight school adversities a fixed price. Once they hook you in the price goes up significantly. I signed up at $95k, it shot up to $118k. They promise 7 months for the entire program, and then magically run out of funds and force you to take out more money. I've been there for 10 months.They're supposed to grade on FAA objectives but grade on how they "feel" about you. If they don't feel a certain way, they defer that part of training.Initial Complaint

ATP stated they would provide education and training. They required payment prior to services. They required access to our account. They charged us $70,341.00 for services not provided. We agree that the services given account for approximately $30,000.00. However, they state instructors provided services and have been unwilling to refund the overage charged. The instructors logged computer time and instruction for times they were unavailable. Instructors did not show up at instruction time. Instructors would often reschedule instruction at the last minute and document that they provided instruction. Frequently instructors were unavailable at times they reported they were available. Often instructors were not on site when they documented they were on site. They were unable to provide education and training that they charged for. We believe we are due a refund of $40,000.00 for the overcharge to the account.Initial Complaint

I started at ATP sept 5 2022 at their Stuart FL location and was enrolled in their “airline career pilot program” which lasts 7 months. I dis enrolled late October and I would like a refund to at least a portion of my money. The reason being is I do not believe ATP held up their end of the bargain in scheduling me for 11 flight hours a week like it says in their contract. I held up my end. In the month of October I only flew 3 times. As a beginning pilot I’m not authorized for night flights yet but one of my flights was a night flight in very windy conditions SOLELY so the instructor could log HIS night flight hours ON MY DIME! that isn’t right what so ever. I shouldn’t be paying hundreds of dollars for someone else to benefit. Also the atp instructors lacked being professional and were at times very rude and threading while flying which is extremely dangerous while flying. I would like a refund of 10-15% of my bill owed to them.
