*** ******** ************ ****** started on 9/2/23 and was supposed to end on 2/12/24. I paid $999.00 and received a receipt from her store. The receipt doesn't mention what the charge is for, and there is nothing listed anywhere on the website nor the receipt about a no refund policy. The class was initially set for Saturdays 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The owner changed the day to Sundays, however class never lasted the full 3 hours. We were dismissed early almost every class. I planned to be in class every Saturday and had to rearrange my schedule to accommodate the new class hours. On Sunday, 10/8/23, class was canceled due to a parade that wouldn't allow us access to parking, supposedly, and that we'd be unable to get into the building. No one told me until I was 3 minutes away that there'd be no class that day. And if the class had been on Saturday as advertised, the parade wouldnt have been an issue and class would not have been canceled. I told the owner that I wanted to quit the class because I wasn't learning anything due to her lack of effort, and the fact that class was always cut short. She said that class would last longer if there were more students. On her website, she offers one on one teaching even if there is only one student, so I don't see how a class size of 3 is not worth making an effort to teach. Most of the lessons came from ****** or were printed from Holistic websites. I only attended the class 4 weeks and simply asked for a pro-rated refund, as there were still almost 5 months left in the course. I dont mind paying for the time that I spent in the class, but to retain my money and leave me with nothing in return, is just not fair.
