I took my car to *** Orange Park due to a tapping noise and drivetrain error message I was receiving. They diagnosed it as needing a timing chain job and quoted me about $6k. I had the car towed to another shop for a second opinion and they confirmed the timing job was needed. I decided to let *** do the work because their quote was a little less expensive than the other shop and that's where I made my mistake. *** called me after having my car for 2-3 weeks to tell me that the timing job had been completed and the computer was reading that the car was working properly, however while driving there was something going on with the car. They told me that the service manager instructed them to redo the timing job, so they would need to keep my car another week and would give me a loaner which they did. After about 4 days they called me back to say they completed the timing job but now I needed to replace my engine, because 2 of my cylinders were not getting compression from the engine. I decided I did not want to do that and had the car towed home, however the fact that my car went from needing a timing job to needing a new engine and this wasn't discovered until after they completed the timing job the second time didn't sit right with me so I had the car towed to another shop who confirmed the engine did in fact need to be replaced due to a bad timing job. So I went from a $6k repair to a $13k repair thanks to Tom Bush BMW Orange Park.

Was fraudulently told I needed a $2300 repair at this business. I took my 2017 440i Gran Coupe in for an oil change and new tires. They claimed my car with 60k miles on in had a front differential oil leak that would take over 9 hours of labor to repair. I decided to get a second opinion somewhere else. Guess what? Zero evidence of a differential leak. The third party said the most likely explanation was that since the oil filter and coolant were directly above the differential, they simply spilled oil when they performed the oil change. *************************** refused to compensate me in any way for the headache of dealing with this. I prepaid for 3 oil changes and asked for a refund on the two remaining ones; doing this required calling the business over and over again over the course of a couple of weeks. I will never take my vehicle to *************** again. This is the absolute worst kind of auto repair scam someone can experience.

***************************, the worst of the worst. I just got back from picking up my car for an oil change and brake flush. Took the car in Friday and rec'd a loaner. They then send me a proposal for additional work via email and text. I picked additional items, which they "forgot" to do. Then they pointed out a scratch on the car (looks to me like a cart in a parking lot may have hit it). At which time they said I have to pay for it or run through insurance (and no kidding the guy acted as if I had to stay on the premises while they worked this out, crazy). I chose to pay and not go thru insurance, the guy takes the car TO A DIFFERENT BODY SHOP NOT OWNED BY ***************, and within 5 minutes comes back and says $1500. for a 1/4" scratch on the car. Now I know from experience that a 1/4" scratch would not cost more than $200. Yet they send me to the "office manager" big whig who just repeated what I was told by the other guy, pay up or else. These people do not live in reality. I'm more than happy to pay for this as it did happen on my dime but I'm not willing to be raped by a car dealership. I will fight this tooth and nail and let EVERYONE I know not to use this dealership, they are managed to "take as much cash as you can from ALL customers. Horrible Horrible place.

My BMW I purchased with this dealership included a 3 year maintenance plan. When the plan expired I purchased additional 3 year maintenance plan ( I was told by service advisor). When I came back for the scheduled oil change BMW said it was a mistake on the service advisor side that I didn’t purchase the additional maintenance plan I purchased a Refresh plan ?? Be careful of the maintenance plans offered by BMW. I love my car but will not be back.
