    BBB files show a pattern of failure to eliminate the basic cause of consumer complaints.

    Specifically, BBB files indicate Nationwide Parts Distributors, Inc has a pattern of disputes where consumers are alleging that they are told their part can be fixed for a set amount of money, part is sent to the company and after diagnostics the consumer is told that it can’t be fixed but for an additional amount of money they can send a new part. In some cases, consumers are alleging that they are receiving their part back as a new part. Consumers are also alleging difficulty getting in touch with anyone. Customers allege they return parts and are only getting a partial refund, they are told by the company to reference the order details that states no refunds, some consumers report not getting this information until after their cards are charged.

    On February 11, 2021, BBB sent correspondence to Nationwide Parts Distributors, Inc requesting their voluntary cooperation in providing BBB the steps it will implement to eliminate the pattern of customer complaints.

We offer diagnostic and repair services as well as remanufactured control modules. Please choose which option works best for you.

    As written on our website, not all control modules can be repaired. If it is determined by a technician that a control module is not repairable, we may offer a remanufactured replacement module and will roll the cost of the repair service towards the replacement. There is no obligation to purchase.

    I recently conducted business with module experts of Jacksonville, Florida. ***** ***** said the main technician assures you on your welcome phone call that he can repair your vehicle module and have it back to you and very little time. I paid module experts $**** emailed out my module and did not hear anything for several days. I had to call in repeatedly asking for updates to not receive any. **** did not answer any of my phone calls emails or voicemails. Some office secretary who doesn’t know what’s going on had to respond. Finally, after having my module for nine days, seven business days, respectively, I found out that the module cannot be repaired, and that I’m receiving only a partial credit. I was assured, my module could be repaired. if you read all of the Google reviews for this company, you will read that they are terrible at communicating, and do not follow through with what they assure they will do.

    After paying my dealer $199 for a diagnostic test I was told by my PCM ECM needed replaced I called AES Modules a division of National Parts out of ************ ******* and spoke with ****. I gave him detailed information the PCM/ECM needed replaced. He assured me that AES can rebuild it. I was charged $269 and sent in the module **** called me with the bad news. The diagnostic showed I had a bad ecu and they cannot rebuild it. However they can buy a rebuilt one and reprogram it for $1100. I told him to rebuild it but I want my old PcM back. He was very resistant to send it back. He said I guess we can send it back if you want it. After thinking about it for a few hours I called back to cancel my order and return the module. Of course mark never answered the call or returned my messages. I called the number on the website and ***** answered. I told him my name and he immediately responded of course and transferred me to customer service. At this point Im livid knowing they scammed me. **************** said I signed the agreement to run the diagnostic for $150 so I wont be reimbursed. She argued with me that I signed the paperwork. Yet **** reassured me they could rebuild it before I paid. Now that I paid the part is no longer able to be rebuilt. **************** hung up on me. Im waiting to receive my module.
