01/14/22 We paid $ 385 on 05/16/21 as a down payment for appraisal of property for an estate settlement. *************************** came out to do a survey and stated that a report would be forthcoming in several weeks. We have contacted him numerous times and received the same answer each time. "You will receive the report by the end of the week."On 12/29/21, I contacted **************** again. He stated that we would have the report by the Friday of the following week (01/04/22) or he would return our deposit. We have not heard a word.I just called him again to advise that we plan to take legal action.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS TO ANYONE.Review from jamesgpope

We engaged B. Langston to support our downsizing project in ************ after reviewing the complaints documented with BBB. Our experience was different that the complaints that have been documented,The most important thing to note is that B. Langston did everything the told us they would do. They met with us to describe their services and we formulated a plan of attack. We got negative feedback from a competitor so we invited them back to confront the issues of service and follow through. We then engaged them to handle the distribution of household wares as we moved to our new location.They came when they said they would. They disposed of everything remaining. Some went to charity, which they handled. Some was purchased and some went to the dump. All was disposed of.They met all of their commitments, a decent deal for for both parties. No complaints and much better than the previous reviews posted by BBB. Had pricing been more favorable, we would have given them 5 stars,
