      Horrible. Another way to scam and steal from the public. Should be ashamed they sell it to people.

      We purchased our year Sentry Extended Warranty for our 2017 ***** Pilot with 84K miles on it in February 2023 for a cost of over $4.6K, to cover any large expenditures such as the known Torque Converter issues that ***** Pilots have had, Transmission, and/or Air Conditioning. Stipulations for the insurance were that the Pilot had to have no known issues and was running fine and all service and repairs had to be done by *********** (did all our service to date). Took a video of the engine running that day with no other sensor lights on. We had the 85K mile service done by *********** in May 2023 and there were no issues. We had a Transmission Light turn on on 7/15/23 and called to make a service appointment on 7/21/23. On 7/21 Transmission Light was not on when I took it for service that morning. We had to drive it around that day and bring it back when the light was visible, which was later in the afternoon. *********** diagnostic test indicated that the Torque Converter needed replacement. *********** printed the report but cleared the indicator light. CWS inspector required that we recreate the issue again so we had to pick up the car a wait for the Transmission light to go on again. It happened fairly rapidly but he then asked **************** to test the transmission fluid for metal fragments that indicates a larger issue. At this point *********** had our car for over 4 weeks waiting for CWS to approve the replacement of the transmission. After 5 weeks, of our car being in the shop, CWS indicated that they would not replace our transmission until there was a hard failure of the Transmission. So CWS has rendered my car useless to me since I can't safely drive it any long distance until my Transmission is replaced. I am paying for an extended warranty that is worthless since they won't honor the rental car credit and will not approve the repair until the transmission fails outright. CWS doesn't trust ***********'s repair report or their service manager.

      I purchased an extended warranty through the company. After the company rejected a claim on my account I have tried to contact the company to substantiate the reason for rejecting the claim but the company has been unresponsive. The stated reason was due to *** ****** of warranty already provided but company not able to provide anything to substantiate *** claim $ or invoices to substantiate reason for rejection. I am certain the *** ****** has not been reached but the company is choosing to ignore my complaint until ********* runs out in a few months. Claim number ******

      Our shop was authorized to repair a vehicle and was told what was the customer responsibility and what the ********************** company would pay. The vehicle was completed and the customer picked up the vehicle. After waiting for three days to get paid from the warranty company they finally tried to give us a payment that was smaller than the dollar amount they authorized. Talking with **** at claims did no good and then talking with ***** (her supervisor) did no good. He is supposed to be contacting his boss, but I don't have much hope. If he does come through, I will revise the rating.

      Thank you to Century Warranty for contacting me back about this problem and handling it in a quick and proper manner. I still wonder if I would have ever been contacted if I had not submitted the review and for that I can't give you five stars, But, I also have to give you credit for a quick and proper response.
