About 6 months ago or so we did a clean out with the same company - When we called them to clean it out again due to the gurgling sound in the toilet. They never mentioned when we had a clean out or advised us that we shouldn't be needing another one in such a short amount of time. John came to clean out the septic tank. After he was done he then stated "You didn't need a clean out but I can sell you an alarm box because yours is old" Didn't communicate that with my husband until he was done. The gurgling continues and now it's worse with water coming up in the shower. I called to see what they can do about it all I got was a rude receptionist, I requested for manager to call me but John stated he was the mgr. called me with an attitude and no solution to my problem. I paid almost $400 for nothing. Im disgusted by this company and how he deceived us. This is horrible customer service and only a company that takes homeowners money. Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/08/12) */ The customer had her tank pumped in December 2020. We pumped out the tank and cleaned the filter at that time. On Saturday, July 24, 2021, the customer called and reached our after-hours answering service for emergency service. The answering service does not have access to our records nor do the employees that are on-call. We pumped out her tank, cleaned her filter, vacuumed the inlet line to clear any clogs that were present and checked to make sure her pump was working. At no time was the client advised that a pump out was not needed. The client on-site was advised that everything was working properly at that time. We received another call two weeks later from the same customer to our after-hours answering service screaming at the answering service, she was advised that someone from our office would call her on Monday morning. She called our office on Monday morning just after we arrived at the office, she was belligerent to the office manager that took her call accusing us of not performing any service stating that she had paid for our company to do nothing. Since the client was not willing to discuss the matter with the office manager, it was then escalated to upper management. John called her back and tried to explain that if the gurgling was occurring again, it was possible with the rain that we have had that the GFI was possibly tripped and asked her if she had checked that; he also described other items that could cause the gurgling that she was describing. She screamed at John stating that he wasn't a manager and refused to discuss anything with him. The husband called later and spoke with the office manager, refused to give his name or address stating that we wouldn't call him back if he did. He advised that a manager was supposed to call his wife back and didn't. He was advised that a manager did call her back. He then made threats that he knows a lot of people and that we had better not mess with him. Prior to being verbally abused and threatened by the homeowners, we tried to explain to the client the different scenarios that could be occurring at their location that would cause the gurgling in their toilets; we tried to explain that pumping out a septic tank could not make her symptoms worse. Since the homeowners refused to have a calm and rational conversation and resorted to making threats to our personnel, we made the decision to not pursue any further communication with them.
