I drove my **** ****************** Trac to the Goodyear (271 Hialeah Automotive Corp.) that is 5 minutes away from my house because i recognize Goodyear to be an established company so I thought I was going to be receiving good and honest work, rather than going to a random street mechanic. I tell ******* that my car has been having problems starting up for about a month now where I would have to turn my car on twice because it doesnt turn on the first time around and that 4 days earlier my car died on me while I was driving home. He tells me that they will run a diagnostic and see what exactly is the problem. He then quoted me around $800 to fix multiple issues that my car has, including my 6 spark plugs. I agree to this price and sign the paper. 2 or 3 days later he calls me on the phone and tells me that they found other issues so now i will have to pay $1000. Im taken aback but agree to this price, since it wasnt TOO big of a jump from the $800 i was originally quoted for. About 3 days later I get a call that my car is all fixed and ready to be picked up. ******* tells me i have good and bad news. Your car is fixed but the total you have to pay is $1,900. Im shocked when I hear this over the phone and i stay quiet for a long while. Thats basically $2,000 that i have to pay when I was only expecting to pay *** ***** dollars. Im stressing out and trying to figure out how ** going to come up with the money for this because i didnt have $1,978 to pay and get my car. Thankfully my mom lent me the money and she took me to pick up my car. I pay and drive my car home on Tuesday October 31. That same day I realize my car isnt driving like normal. Whenever I would stop at a red light or stop sign my car would tremble weirdly and i know my car only does that right before it dies on me.
