On 3/11/22 I purchased a Car Wash from the Gas Station for $8.99 + tax ($9.62) total. I entered the car wash and the car wash sprayed my car with soap. The machine then started making an unusual noise and stopped working and the green arrow started flashing for me to exit the car wash. I exited the car wash with my car full of soap and entered inside to explain to the clerk what happened. He then stated that I would have to purchase another car wash, he refused to issue a new car wash or a refund. He tried telling me that it was my fault the car wash had stopped working which is a bogus excuse. I started reading the reviews of this gas station and it seems that they have a history of the car wash malfunctioning.Business response

Information about you and the painful situation that occurred on 03/11/2022 in the Car Wash of this Facility has arrived at our office.
Unfortunately we have presented some technical problems with this equipment, with the result of a malfunction and therefore a bad washing. This situation is alien to our customer service, since it is the machinery that determines if the car is well parked or not And from there it performs the process in defect.
In all cases that the customer has not been satisfied, a solution has been given by presenting the case with the manager of the installation, since the cashier has no power to solve this problem: since at the entrance of the carwash there are cameras that record the entry and position of the car before starting the process, and only the manager has access to those videos. These recordings corroborate the client's explanation of why his car was poorly washed or because the equipment did not complete the process.
At this point we urge you to come to our office, to see the manager and thus solve your problem.

I am rejecting this response because: they are blaming the issue on a technical problem, I also feel like they are making fun of the situation by calling it a painful situation. The problem is not a technical issue, a technical issue can happen at any time, that is understandable. The problem here is the business refusing to make the situation right by just re issuing a new car wash and asking me to pay for another one when it's clearly the business fault for not completing the car wash that was paid for. Meanwhile my car sits outside the car wash full of soap which if left on the vehicle can cause damage to the paint of my vehicle.
