A young man came out to repair my washing machine. He did something to it but did not repair it. He showed me a part that needed to be replaced. I paid him for the job. When he left, my wife started to wash a load of clothes and the machine sounded like a truck. She turned it off. Ive been trying to contact the business ever since. They dont answer the phone most times. I called every day and Ive talked to someone once. I was told a part had been ordered. If the machine was fixed, why would you be ordering a part? We had to pay for laundry to be done at a laundry twice. That was about $90.00. We had company in the house for a week with no washing machine.I would like my money back from this company.Initial Complaint

I paid them to put the bottom element in my stove because it went out in my oven. They told me I had to pay before they could get the part which I did and afterward they stop answering my phone call after they took my money I have since had the part replaced. I am elderly, and they simply took advantage of me I don't know how to upload, but if you will call me, we will get through itInitial Complaint

I paid them $743.19 to repair my washer and dryer. They came and fixed the dryer for ****** and had to order the parts to fix the washer which was going to cost ******. They never came back and never called and no one will answer the phone. I finally had to call another company to come out and fix the washer. I am out ******.Initial Complaint

Repair company A.R.C. -(Appliance Repair Center LLC.) . Received a check from me in the amount of $734.81 , to repair a ice machine and two internal fans on my GE refrigerator, this was on Feb. 26,2024. The new equipment was to be installed the following Monday, March 4, 2024. After not hearing from them , I have been calling them at (4) telephone numbers on there business card, with no success. And as of today, March 13, 2024 still no contact from them. This company A.R.C. is either located in Lake County **. (#************) Orange County, **. BEWARE! There is no voicemail option to leave for this business and emails go unreturned. I called them about repairing my washer. They sent an individual over to my house the same day. His diagnosis to the problem was that the washer needed new springs and that they needed to be ordered. They wouldnt accept card so I ended up paying with *****. I was told initially that I would have the repair done Thursday or Friday of that week (he was at my house on Monday). After not hearing from the company at all on Thursday, I called Friday about when I can expect the repair to be done that day. They told me the parts were still in transit and that they may get there so that the repair could happen Saturday. After not hearing anything again, I called that Saturday asking when they would come. I was told that the parts were still in transit and that they would schedule for Monday. I wanted around all morning on Monday and then began to call them. I called 4x and emailed 3x with no response. I dont take fraud lightly, nor do I accept people scamming me. *** filed a fraud chargeback with my bank, will file this complaint, and will next go the local route.Initial Complaint

Total cost for service call, hinge and labor: $383.39 Hinge came apart. On Friday December 8, 2023 I contacted **** at ARC and was sent a technician that same day at approximately **** pm to check my washing machine. His name he said was *****. He told me my machine had a faulty drain pump and he could repair it the following Monday morning. He asked me for a 220 dollar deposit, which I stupidly paid in cash. When Monday came, he did not show up and when I called the company and spoke to **** he denied ever sending anyone to my condo or even knowing the man who took my money. I know I should not have paid cash, but I was in a hurry for the repairs and now regret my mistake, but if I can keep this from happening to someone else that is at least something.Customer response

Within 2 hours of filing the complaint with your group i received a call and an apology from the same business that earlier in the day pretended not to know who i was. The same man from the same number i had spoken to at 10 am on the morning of Dec 11, 2023 and said he had no idea about my service, called me back at **** saying the technician was on the way. It was the same man and same number that a few hours before denied i had spoken to him or given money for a service!. Thanks to the BBB i finally got a response and my machine was fixed. Hello my name is ******* and i was wondering if you can help me. January 10th, 2023 i reached out to an appliance company ( Appliance Repair Center LLC. 9601 Early Loop Groveland, FL 34736-7915) wishing to get my dryer fixed which has recently gone out on me. On January 12th 2023 the company came out checked out my dryer and told me it will be a fix of $278.18 we agreed and paid. The repair was fixed or so we thought Fast forward 8 months later to September 26th 2023. I called another technician from a different company out because my dryer went out again. Thought it was weird but normal. That technician informed me that the reason why it went out so fast was because they were using faulty and generic parts and improper installation methods and that he’s “ never seen this before ever.” And “ it’s one of the leading causes of fires in households. Furious at this news i contacted the first company ( Appliance Repair Center LLC) spoke to a man that refused to give me his name. Refused to let me speak to a higher up and not only hung up on me not once but THREE TIMES. And the third time and last time he proceeded to tell me it was my fault that the dryer was installed wrong and it was our fault for using the dryer for its intended purposes, to dry clothes. Also that he would not be giving me the number to ANYONE no supervizor, no lead and refused to give me his name. Can have pictures of the part when a new technician come to replace said faulty part from Appliance Repair Center LLC. i would formally like to file a complaint for Appliance Repair Center LLC If there’s anything you can do to help me i would greatly appreciate it thank youInitial Complaint

On Friday, August 18th, my partner **** called Appliance Repair Center about our washing machine that was not spinning or emptying out at the end of the wash cycle. They scheduled a tech to come look at it the following Monday. On Monday the repairman said the washer needed a new board which he would have to order and had us pay up front for the part. On Aug 22 I paid $486.56 via ***** to Appliance Repair Center LLC. Although they told us it should just be a week, it was more than 2 weeks. On Sept 6th the repairman finally came back and supposedly installed the new board but because we were not able to run a complete wash cycle to test the repair, we didn’t discover until he was long gone that the washer was not fixed and was still doing the same thing. My partner **** tried and tried to call but whatever phone service they have doesn’t ever get you to a person nor does it allow you to leave a message. So we are out $486 and still have a broken washer! I tried emailing the company about our continued issue to the email referenced in my ***** transaction but they have not responded. I want a refund to help offset the cost of the new washer we had no choice but to go buy. Our tenants had been without a washer for close to a month at that point! I want our money back.
